Artist Listing : Octopus Syng (3 products)

Octopus Syng - Rainbow Coloured Mandala. CD. (Universal Vibes - UV1)

Debut mini-cd from 2004 by this great new Finnish folk/psych band. Shimmering Psychedelic folk songs layered with lush and haunting melodies, it may be the '00's but this hippy soundscape conjurs up the beauty and majesty of the late 60's scene with great confidence and accomplished musicianship. A very promising debut from this fresh band, expect great things.

Octopus Syng - Beyond The Karmadelic. CD. (Horus - HORUS11)

Full length debut Finland's new psychedelic wonder-kid! A stunning mixture of Syd Barrett, early Pink Floyd, Pekka Streng, Kula Shaker etc. Sounding just like 1968, psychedelia, pop melodies, hippie folk, reverberated garage, sensual stuff on the piano and sitar rock. Sun, love, twilight of the forests, birdsongs, loneliness, romanticism and positive vibes. Very trippy stuff indeed!
