The first Freakophonic 7" to be released comes from Danish psych garage rockers On Trial. It's 1967-8 again as they take on Pink Floyd's 'Interstellar Overdrive' and Blue Cheer's version of the Mose Allison's classic Parchment Farm'(it's an old live favourite of the band)......well, they just had to do it, didn’t they!Tasty thick card sleeve with great artwork adorns the single.
Black and white 1999 promo tour poster with blank space for gig info. Band posing in front of psychedelic oil wheel projection effect. Size: 42cm x 49cm.

Now deleted and these are the last six copies! The Danish bands fourth album from 2001 sees them pushing to new heights of sonic craftsmanship. A potent mixture of heavy fuzz guitar, harmonies and psychedelic keyboard textures that evoke the spirit of classic US '60's acid psych but with a jaw dropping power. Fronted by the best vocalist since Roky Erickson this band are truly awesome! The Eastern title track is a real mindblower! Album is housed in stunning artwork by 'Kula Shaker Artist' Dan Abbott.
Now Deleted! Live! Tonight!... Tripped Out in 2003! Our men in Denmark are notorious for tearing it up on stage but this takes the mushroom-flavoured biscuit. Not only did they manage to get out alive from a storming performance in Christiana, they escaped with the tape too! 'Live' features some of the awesome 60's psych classics that adorned 'Head' mixed up with numbers from previous albums, 'Blinded By The Sun' and 'New Day Rising'. With an impressive catalogue behind them, On Trial continue to deliver the goods and this is no exception, filled with killer new acid psych with a West Coast twist. All hail the greatest Danish export since Carlsberg! Last 10 copies

Back in stock! Danish acid psych with awesome guitar extrapolations and a KILLER cover version of The Thirteenth Floor Elevators classic 'Slip Inside This House'. (This really is the best version ever... reeking of dope smoke and shot through with audio hallucinations and drug induced mystical exstacy). The band sound in places like Monster Magnet, but they are much more psychedelic, with backwards guitar freakouts and druggy lyrics.... GREAT! Special Price to celebrate the release of the new album Blinded By The Sun.
Now deleted. These are the last 10 copies! Here's the 2003 full length CD album version of the now rare 10" issued a few years back by the great Danish psych band. On Trial update and interpret a selection of '60s psychedelic classics, including gems by Love, The Third Bardo, Macbre, Roky Erickson and others. The CD version is expanded to include superb covers of The Rolling Stones 'Citadel' Blues Cheer's Parchment Farm, The Stooges TV Eye, Pink Floyd's "Interstellar Overdrive" and The MC5's "Starship". Blistering acid wah wah fuzz guitar work, trippy effects, exquisite vocals and multicoloured psychedelic abandon are the order of the day. New artwork and remastered sound. A real trip.
Stunning A2 psychedelic poster by Dan Abbott (Psychedelic Psauna/Beyond The Calico Wall/Kula Shaker) in orange and black featuring a dragon and "On Trial" in psych lettering. Produced to publicise gigs and certain to become a collectors item…
Very limited and expanded double LP edition (500 copies only in a beautiful gatefold sleeve) of this killer 2003 psych album by one of the best bands around. Sounding like a cross between Love and The Sound Track Of Our Lives the band blend an emotional west coast flavoured sound with powerful acid guitar trippy jams and melodic sensibilities. Intricate arrangements and sweeping acid psych that’s both achingly ragged and beautifully realised. This album grows on you with every listen just like a classic album should. Highly recommended. This edition features all of the CD plus bonus tracks.
Sadly deleted we have a few copies left of perhaps the best acid psych album of the 00's! The stunning 2002 album by the best kept Scandinavian secret since Rumplestiltskin sounds like a cross between Love and The Sound Track Of Our Lives! The band blend an emotional west coast flavoured sound with powerful acid guitar and melodic sensibilities. Intricate arrangements and sweeping acid psych that’s both achingly ragged and beautifully realised. This album grows on you with every listen just like a classic album should. Highly recommended. Only 20 copies left!
If you thought that the last On Trial studio album proper - Blinded By The Sun - was pretty hard to beat then be prepared to be surprised. It's been four years since that album and despite a disc of cover versions and a live albumDanish band On Trial have been fairly quiet. The loss of drummer Lorenzo and the bands guitarist Anders to Baby Woodrose has not made any difference to the quality of the songwriting - in fact it may just have got better! Killer twin lead guitar with long trippy jamming evokes the power of late '60's US acid psych (with a strong Elevator vibe) and kicks it into orbit it with the energy of current Scandinavian acid rock. Highly recommended to any serious psych fan.
