Latest additions & updates to our catalogue:
Lilienthal - Lilienthal. CD. First official CD release for this forward thinking electronic album. Recorded at Conny Planks studio in 1976, this was a dream project for electronic music pioneer Dieter Moebius (Harmonia / Cluster), recording with his musical soulmates: Okko Bekker and Asmus Tietchens, plus two members of Kraan and even Plank himself! Potentially a mess considering that they hadn't worked together before and all had their own musical opinions.happily, this actually turned into a top draw document of electronic music at it's most subtle and unexpectedly complex. | Orb - I'll Be Black - Various. Dble CD. Dr. Lx Paterson from The Orb’s two disc eulogy to his favourite record label. In celebration of the 40th anniversary, he includes not only some of Trojan’s finest material but also 4 unreleased tracks by Mad Orb; Mad Professor Vs The Orb. Featuring tracks by Lee Perry, Gregory Isaacs, Dennis Alcapone, Augustus Pablo, Alton Ellis, Johnny Clarke,Tapper Zukie, King Tubby and many more. Forty two tracks in total. Cracking cover as well. |
Fripp & Eno - Unreleased Works Of Startling Genius. Dble CD. A series of musical snapshots, ideas, tunes, pieces, covering a period of several years. Selected by Brian Eno, most are issued here for the first time on CD. The musical content is as varied in mood as one might expect from such disparate time periods. The unifyingfactor, that which makes this series of recordings so compelling, is the sense that comes across of the duo’s own continued fascination & delight in finding new ways of exploring & presenting their shared musical adventures. The initial manufacturing run of the album will be issued as a limited edition 2CD digi pack set showcasing the music in different ways. CD1 offers the first 12 pieces in segued form with only track 13 (regarded by both musicians as one of Fripp’s finest recorded performances) separate, while CD 2 offers the 13 pieces individually. When the initial run is exhausted; a single CD of the music as presented on CD1 will become the standard release edition. | Control OST - Various. CD. Eighteen track CD soundtrack album to Anton Corbijn's motion picture Control, the story of Ian and Deborah Curtis. A friend and contemporary of Joy Division in the late Seventies, Corbijn is responsible for some of their most iconic photographs. In 1988 he directed a video for the band's 'Atmosphere' as a requiem to Ian. Featured here are tracks from the era by Joy Division, David Bowie, Buzzcocks, Sex Pistols, Roxy Music, a cover of "Shadowplay" by the Killers and three new songs by New Order, the last tracks recorded with Peter Hook before he walked out. |

The collaboration of both America's & Finland's weirdest, is nothing less than sensational. | Sunburned Circle - The Blaze Game. LP. The German electro scene is certainly one of the most innovative musical movements in Europe at the moment. Its poster boy is Apparat, a gangly, squash-loving Berliner with a virtuosic ability for bringing heart, warmth and melody toglitchy, minimal techno.Bliss |
Circle - Katapult. CD. The premier kraut-influenced, psychedelic band have created their most dark and twisted record to date - which, for those familiar with Circle, know is no small feat. The constants of their sound remain - hard repetition, heavy riffs, trance inducing rhythms - aided, on this recording, by an ominous, spooky and, dare we say, straight up evil vibe. You could very well be listening to the greatest, long lost dark psychedelia record, or maybe the soundtrack to some never released drug-drenched horror film. | Circle - Katapult. LP.
