This disc features his complete recordings for that label: all the 1967-68 sides- the album plus nine extra tracks, two of which are previously unreleased recordings. Having switched between soul and gospel throughout his popular '60's and '70's career, this is a return to what he calls "Proper Soul", playing with a select group of musicians in Atlanta, Georgia.
