P.G. Six - The Well Of Memory. CD. (Amish Records - AMICD19) 'The well of memory' makes nods towards 60s folk artists like Bert Jansch, Pentangle, Incredible String Band and John Fahey. Also fitting in with contemporary musicians like NY psych folk poster boy Devendra Banhardt, Anglo folk traditionalist Alasdair Roberts and West Coast psych guitarist Ben Chasny of Six Organs Of Admittance.

Noticably different in style, his solo output mixes moments of '60's British Folk and country rock as well as throwing in some experimental elements too. One of America’s finest unsung guitarists , this release finds him creating a much more song orientated album than ever before.

A little more song-oriented than his other releases, but it fits nicely in with the catalogue thus far.
