Pappo's Blues - Volumen 6. CD. (Music Hall - MH 1611 2)

Largely instrumental album from this great Argentinan blues guitarist. This was issued originally by the record company whilst Pappo was in Britain playing with Peter Green. Although the songs are outtakes from earlier albums, they are still great acid blues workouts, with splendid lead guitar and fine riffing.

From 1974 and (surprise, surprise) their 4th album. Moving on from their stylish brand of heavy blues-rock this album explores a more straight-forward heavy rock/boogie direction with captivating guitar work and solid rhythm section. A good 'un.

Pappo's Blues - Volumen 1. CD. (Music Hall - MH 1607 2)

Along with Almendra and Vox Dei, this loose-knit bunch of acid rock blues musicians were one of Argentina's top acts of the '70s. From 1971, this debut album contains oodles of superb Hendrix and Cream influenced heavy riffs, with fluid leads and pounding drums. Definitely a classy act!!Housed in a digi pack.

Pappo's Blues - Triangulo (Volume 5). CD. (MH - 16102-COD.2.91)

1974 album by this legendary Argentinian guitarist and his band. Much more improvisational than earlier efforts with long acid guitar led jamming in a style similar to Color Humano. Fans of Vertigo heavy progressive such as May Blitz will find plenty to enjoy here!.
