(Collectors Choice - CCM06152) The debut release of this sadly overlooked American protest singer was all that and more, sporting songs drawn from the tumultuous events of the day but also an adaptation of an Edgar Allan Poe poem (The Bells) and a tribute to Woody Guthrie (Bound For Glory) An excellent album from a major songwriting talent tragically, like so many others of the time, engulfed in the furore surrounding the admittedly excellent but somewhat overexposed Dylan.
