Action - Brain. CD.
(Label: , Cat.No: )

Click for large image Famous '60s UK Mod Band who after taking lots of acid became Mighty Baby. This album is the long lost psychedelic Action album from 1967/68 and is prime UK '60s Mod Psych with an "Ogdens Nut Gone" Small Faces, Blossom Toes feel. Choice quality stuff!

Oliver - Good Morning Starshine- The Best Of. CD.
(Label: Taragon, Cat.No: TARCD1104)

Click for large image The greatest hits of this legend of easy listening and sunshine pop all assembled for the first time on CD. Oliver (for 'twas he) was of course known for his rendition of the title track (which came from the hit show 'Hair') but also recorded many folk rock and country rock ballads, songs by Rod McKuen ('Jean' being a particular favourite) and his own compositions such as 'Young Birds Fly' and 'Buddy' show the kind of music he wanted to create: complex, orchestrated, sometimes dramatic adult folk-pop similar to that of Bob Lind. There are also tracks here that result from his collaborations with Lesley Gore, which should have reached a larger audience had the world taken him more seriously. Still, he's a legend to us lot in the know. Grab this and find out why!!

Blue Things - Blow Your Mind. Dble CD.
(Label: CICODELICO, Cat.No: CICD1966)

Click for large image Fantastic 2CD set!. Complete works of the BLUE THINGS, one of the best acts to come out of the Midwest during the mid 60’s. These unsung contemporary to the BYRDS and the BEAU BRUMMELS brought folk rock and fuzztone psychedelica to the great plains. 65 tracks many of which are UNRELEASED till now. Included here:- 7 tracks from 1964 from their first incarnation as the BLUE BOYS-- All their studio recording from 1965 -1967-- + obscure radio sessions in great quality! The DOUBLE CD comes with a very nice 24 page booklet, with full stories and extensive details and many unseen photographs

Sound Of Feeling - Spleen. CD.
(Label: Sunbeam Music, Cat.No: SBRCD5045)

Click for large image CD re-issue of this Interesting and weird early '70s US album from a group who were not afraid to experiment with sound. Assorted male/female vocal harmony techniques are employed to stunning effect, while instruments include saxes, cellos and Moog synthesizers. Covers of songs by Paul Simon and Donovan as well as some intriguing originals all go to make this an eclectic and exceptional experience. Same label as 50 Foot Hose.Includes 5 bonus tracks

Black Pearl - Black Pearl/Live At The Fillmore. CD.
(Label: Lion Records, Cat.No: LION 203)

Click for large image Both albums on one CD, The 1969 debut album and the 1970 Live album by this West Coast outfit led by Bernie "B.B." Fieldings, ex member of USA 60's legends THE BARBARIANS.

Children Of One - Children Of One. CD.
(Label: Arkarma, Cat.No: AD534)

Click for large image Children Of One’s sole album was release towards the end of the ‘60s. A very rare and rather obscure psych-rock delice for avid fans, it’s heavily influenced by the so-called Eastern trend. This quartet from New York picked several typical indian instruments like sitar, tablas and others.Improvisation is largely present in their songs and overall the felling is that of a really forgotten gem that ranks up there with the best productions of that era.Richly packaged in the new Akarma DeLuxe line with stunning quality re-mastering

Fort Mudge Memorial Dump - Fort Mudge Memorial Dump. CD.
(Label: Arkarma, Cat.No: AK385)

Click for large image Fort Mudge Memorial Dump was a band from Walpole, Massachusetts, that started playing by 1969, gathering a good number of fans. They got filed into the 'Boston Sound', among the Ultimate Spinach, the Beacon Street Union, Orpheus, Tangerine Zoo, ecc. With good technique and better ideas, they recorded a very sought-after LP in which the voice of Caroline Stratton stands out to some Jefferson Airplane affinity. Guitarist Dean Keady, with his jazzy effects, leads the band. This is a very much anticipated release and a sure buy for all collectors.

Les Rallizes Denuds - Yodo Go A Go Go (AKA Flightless Bird). CD.
(Label: , Cat.No: 10THAVCD3)

Click for large image Seemingly endless sonic flame-throwers of phased white noise streak across your inner landscape, as stupidly loud and overly-backlit lead guitar emissions perpetrated by a perpetually be-shaded longhair pummel the similarly be-shaded but barely adequate musical backing that sags and creaks under the wattage. Occasionally, lead vocals of a singular variety are provided by said be-shaded mad axeman, whose paranoid personality ensures all songs are delivered in a voice of querulous subterranean gargling from beyond the valley of Alan Vega. My giddy aunt, whats this, then, a Meaty Beaty Big & Bouncy from the Underworld? A rough guide to Japrocks most intuitive non-career movers? Has the worlds most revolutionary rocknroll band released a compilation album of leader Mizutanis most frequently requested tracks due to overwhelming popular demand? Ja, mein hairies, this certainly seems to be the case. For, with the arrival of this superb Flightless Bird compilation, obsessive fans of Les Rallizes Denuds (are there any other kinds?) finally have a proper early career overview of Mizutani & Co. at their fingertips, a 70-minute-long super distillation of this most contrary of bands choicest musical moves executed between 1967-82, a superb sounding and partly/mostly chronological trawl through the freaked out and perpetually-yelping mindscape of singer and avant-avalanche guitarmonger Mizutani, and his sinister-yet-interchangeable pool of black clad world-to-rights acolytes."

Stackridge - Forbidden City. Dble CD.
(Label: Angel Air, Cat.No: SJPCD251)

Click for large image Stackridge performed to a sold out audience in Bath, England during April 2007 as part of theircommitment to touring the UK during that year. AngelAir were there to record this historic gig.The gig whilst being memorable for them playing alltheir popular songs also heralded the return to live performances of MUTTER SLATER who had always in the past commanded audience attention and participation. The fans were not disappointed.Classic English popular music. Due In: 14/01/2008

Mountain - Masters Of War. CD.
(Label: Megaforce, Cat.No: MTN001)

Click for large image “Over the last 4 decades, this is a unique departure for Mountain and with that departure we have arrived, (along with the help, of Ozzy Osbourne and Warren Haynes) at a wonderful cross road... MOUNTAIN & DYLAN.This CD is Bob Dylan songs! Yeah Bob Dylan. It may sound strange why Mountain or I would attempt this, but I already did in 1969 On my first solo record, Leslie West "Mountain" I got the idea in Europe

Blonde On Blonde - Rebirth/Reflections On A Life. Dble CD.
(Label: Acrobat, Cat.No: ACMCD5017)

Click for large image The two albums capture a hugely intriguing fragment of rock history a significant chunk of the career of a band that was probably as good as most things that were happening at the time but who were never destined to make the big breakthrough they deserved.· giddy mixture of prog, hard rock, folk, psychedelia and straight pop·Original sleeve notes by Tommy Vance as well as further new information on the band·A growing cult surrounds this highly collectable band who co-incidentally played the Isle Of Wight Festival same time as the man from which they took their name Bob Dylan.Unavailable for many years in the UK.2 classic Ember albums.

Chad & Jeremy - Now & Forever. Dble CD.
(Label: Acrobat, Cat.No: ADMCD5013)

Click for large image 2-CD set featuring the great classics form the height of their career

Stone Country - Stone Country. CD.
(Label: Rev Ola, Cat.No: CRREV230)

Click for large image Young had moved to Los Angeles in 1964 and began working with Van Dyke Parks and Stephen Stills while keeping his day job as a mailman. He formed Stone Country in 1967 and soon thereafter the band was signed to RCA Records. After releasing several singles, RCA issued the group's only album, Stone Country, in March 1968, produced by Rick Jarrard, who also produced Jefferson Airplane and Harry Nilsson's Pandemonium Shadow Show. The group disbanded when, in 1969, Young signed as a solo artist with A&M Records. This is there only and debut album, a fantastic record that is a must have for any one with even the slightest interest in things of psychedelic or country nature.

Changing Of The Guard - Various. CD.
(Label: El, Cat.No: ACMEM127CD)

Click for large image The Changing of the Guard" is a unique music and dialogue sound collage of Swinging London in 1968; a time of exciting developments in all the artistic fields and a time when England set cultural standards that the world is still trying to emulate. Protagonists central to the scene are included here: Mick Jagger of the Rolling Stones discussing revolution; his manager Andrew Loog Oldham explaining business philosophy; the young Michael Caine debating morals in the context of the permissive society; Julie Christie on fame and Lee Marvin on Mini cars and mini skirts! The dialogue is edited against brilliant historic London pop of the period: big hits such as The Small Face's 'Itchychoo Park' and 'Here Come The Nice', Chris Farlowe's memorable number one 'Out of Time', 'If Paradise is Half as Nice' by The Amen Corner and mercurial psychedelia; The Marquis of Kensington, Fleur De Lys, Duncan Browne, Billy Nicholls and the first line up of Humble Pie featuring Steve Marriott and "the Face Of 1968" - Peter Frampton. Special mention too for an early song from Vashti!
