(EMI - 5603222) 25th anniversary celebratory edition of the soundtrack to this seminal Scorsese movie in which Robert De Niro unleashed his award winning performance as boxer Jake La Motta. This is the first time that this soundtrack has been commercially available anywhere: of interest to FE punters will be the four tracks (two of which are previously unreleased) by Band mainman/guitar hero Robbie Robertson, who produced the whole shebang: also included are tracks by Sinatra, Nat Cole, Perry Como, Benny Goodman, the Ink Spots and Harry James. Liner notes by both Scorsese and Robertson.
