Ramones - Brain Drain. CD. (Captain Oi! - AHOY CD 244) Deluxe re-issue of the Ramones debut for Chrysalis records, originally released in 1989 when it flew straight into the UK top 75. This version comes in a slip case and features in-depth sleeve notes from Monte Melnick (former Ramones tour manager) plus a booklet featuring original LP artwork, rare photos and the lyrics to all the tracks. The bonus song on this one is the stunning soundtrack tune to the Stephen King film "Pet Sematary" (those who remember it will do so fondly) in which dead animals were brought back to life, hmm sound familiar?

Ramones - It's Alive 1974-1996. dbl DVD. (Warner Vision / Cinram - 0349704832) This double DVD spectacular features over four hours of rare and previously unreleased concert footage from around the world. Fans will be reassured to know that a large chunk of the footage is from the 70s and early 80s and the whole project was overseen by Tommy Ramone. Includes performances from CBGB's, Liberty Hall in Houston, The Rainbow Theatre in London (the entire "It's Alive gig"), The Old Grey Whistle Test , Milan, San Francisco Civic Center, Buenos Aires, Top of the Pops, Madird, Stockholm and many other locations.
