This album is the long lost psychedelic Action album from 1967/68 and is prime UK '60s Mod Psych with an "Ogdens Nut Gone" Small Faces, Blossom Toes feel. Choice quality stuff! (Label: El, Cat.No: ACMEM127CD) The Changing of the Guard" is a unique music and dialogue sound collage of Swinging London in 1968; a time of exciting developments in all the artistic fields and a time when England set cultural standards that the world is still trying to emulate. Protagonists central to the scene are included here: Mick Jagger of the Rolling Stones discussing revolution; his manager Andrew Loog Oldham explaining business philosophy; the young Michael Caine debating morals in the context of the permissive society; Julie Christie on fame and Lee Marvin on Mini cars and mini skirts! The dialogue is edited against brilliant historic London pop of the period: big hits such as The Small Face's 'Itchychoo Park' and 'Here Come The Nice', Chris Farlowe's memorable number one 'Out of Time', 'If Paradise is Half as Nice' by The Amen Corner and mercurial psychedelia; The Marquis of Kensington, Fleur De Lys, Duncan Browne, Billy Nicholls and the first line up of Humble Pie featuring Steve Marriott and "the Face Of 1968" - Peter Frampton. Lightening - Severe Stoner Hard Rock Thunder. CD. (Label: Arf! Arf!, Cat.No: AA 100) 1968-1971". Lightning was an offshoot of Minneapolis 60s legends Litter that featured guitar wizard Tom "Zippy" Caplan. After recording the Litters 1966 garage classic Distortions and 1968 psych masterpiece $100 Fine, Caplan split from the Litter and formed Lightning. This authorized CD reissue includes their entire LP, the aforementioned 45, plus six additional bonus tracks (including edited 45 mixes of two album tracks) all wrapped in an archival 12-page booklet with lots of photos and liner notes by Litterscribe Doug Sheppard. Randy & The Radiants - Memphis Beat - The Sun Recordings 1964 - 19666. CD. (Label: Big Beat, Cat.No: CDWIKD 267) Amongst the last releases on Sun Records were a pair of singles by Randy & the Radiants, one of the most popular teen combos in Memphis in the mid-1960s. Sam Phillips’ attempt to get back at the British Invasion, they were more than just another Beatles knock off with their smooth harmonies and folk/ countrified arrangements as well as the in-house garage / pop songs that took them above the many pretenders to the throne. Many of these twenty four tracks, recorded with either Phillips himself or his son Knox are unisseud before now.

(Label: Lion Music, Cat.No: PACE019) Legendary Canadian band who delivered some seriously good psychedelic rock/pop gems such as "Close The Barn Door" (on 'Endless Journey') and the classic all time psych / punk top ten hit "Citizen Freak". 21 tracks (from the mastertapes) with the entire album, all the singles and more, it even has a 10 page booklet with a fully detailed band history. Los Walkers - Los Walkers / Nosotros Los Walkers. CD. (Label: , Cat.No: CDDP023) Garage & psychedelic legend from Argentina. First LP 1967 + second lp 1968 plus 8 bonus tracks. Never before on cd, all bonus tracks are non LP singles. In fact, Los Walkers were the Argentine response to "Los Shakers" and "Los Mockers" (that were from Uruguay). The first Lp is like a sort of garage classics and included 3 tracks written by themselves. We have covers of Them - Small faces - Lemmon Pipers - Doors - Kinks - Stones, all of them in a very special and peculiar versions. Their second album is a bit more psychedelic. Liverpool (Brazil) - Por Favor Sucesso + 8. CD. (Label: Sunny Pierrot, Cat.No: SPCD 1638) Liverpool were one of the pioneers of the tropicalia rock in Brasil, together with Mutantes, Bando, Ronnie Von. They released their sole album in 1969 with psychedelic moods, fuzz guitars and Portuguese lyrics. As bonus tracks we have the E.P (movie soundtrack) "Marcelo Zona Sul" with 6 songs, plus another single from 1971 when they changed the name to " Liverpool Sound ". After that in 1975 the band changed the name to "Bicho da Seda" and did one LP in 1976 in a progressive & jazz rock style. The Lp of Liverpool is in the book "Record Collector dreams 2001" with 4 stars, but we invite you to find a copy for that price (or even better, simply try to find a copy!).
