Richie Havens - Wishing Well. CD. (Evangeline - GEL4040) Astonishing 2002 studio album from Richie Haven's with a heart stopping version of Pink Floyd's "On the Turning Away". This is an excellent comeback album, inspirations and emotions run deep throughout . US soulful folk with meditational vibes and eastern sounds. Beautiful.

Richie Havens - Stonehenge (Remastered). CD. (Evangeline - GEL4054) Remastered from the original master tapes this is classic Richie Havens from 1970. Soulful US protest folk with a spiritual feel that has a timeless beauty. Excellent songs featured include "Open Our Eyes", "Ring Around The Moon", "Prayer" and "It's All Over Now Baby Blue".

Richie Havens - Connections. CD. (Wounded Bird Records - WOU 242) 1980 album by the soulful US folk singer songwriter, famous for his opening spot at the Woodstock festival. His songs have an earthy, emotional and melancholic vibe. Features a great version of "Going Back To My Roots".

Richie Havens - Grace Of The Sun. CD. (Evangeline - GEL4080) 2004 follow up to the critical and commercially successful 'Wishing Well'. The man who opened the Woodstock festival has waited until now to cover Joni Mitchell's song 'Woodstock'. The album continues where 'Wishing Well' left off with a slightly more eastern feel. Groove Armada guest on the album which also contains another evocative Dylan cover 'All Along The Watchtower'.

Richie Havens - Alarm Clock. CD. (Evangeline - GEL4061) At last "Alarm Clock" is now available for the first time CD. Originally released in 1971, Alarm Clock, made the Top 30 and produced a Top 20 single in "Here Comes the Sun." These recordings were Havens's commercial high-water mark. Beautiful stuff.
