Roky Erickson & The Aliens - The Evil One. Dble LP. (Sympathy For The Record Indust - SFTRI6851) Second LP from Roky Erickson, first released in 1980. Ten Track album now includes a bonus five tracks available on the 1981 US release and alternative takes of "Mine Mine Mind", "Two Headed Dog" and "Click Your Fingers Applauding The Sky." Always a bit eccentric, this album is Roky's take on horror movie themes, with tracks such as the superb "Don't Shake Me lucifer.","I Think of Demons","Night of The vampire" etc. He manages to pull you into his insane world through traditional Rock and Roll/Garage stylings, really worth the trip. Produced by former Creedence bassist Stu Cook.Housed in a great gatefold sleeve this stuff is still brilliant and sounding all the better on vinyl.
