Anyone who thinks Essex had a culture of rock'n'roll should take a long listen to this, possibly the best album that Southside Johnny never made. Schwarz's voice is not dissimilar to Parker's, but with songwriters like Nick Lowe and Sean Tyla collaborating it couldn't really be anything less than special, could it? Includes three unlisted bonus alternate takes, including a version of 'Do Nothing Till You Hear From Me' that might possibly outstrip the original.

Their debut captures the group embracing the New Wave sounds at the end of the '70s, incorporating the atmopheric keyboards into their Pub Rock / Punk sound. The follow up is a noted return to the harder rocking side, released in 1980. Twenty four tracks in total.
