Saint Jude's Infermery - Happy, Healthy, Lucky Month. CD. (Sl Records - LONE42) From Scotland this act were formed around the song-writing twins Ashley and Grant Campbell and the velvet voice of their cousin Emma-Jane. Early reviews compared their sound to untrammelled howls of the Velvet Underground mixed with a primal 60s girl-group beat. Variously described as "Truly spine-tingling dream pop - a star-crossed mix of Blondie and Leonard Cohen" "Simply stunning, the band to watch for this year" A bit like the Concretes two years ago then.
