(SST - SST260) Fantastic overview of the bands SST output on a double LP.The tracks are lifted from four albums "Other Worlds","Even If and Especially When",Invisible Lantern" and the mini LP"Buzz Factory" and hits most of the highlights from all of the above .This set shows how the band fused '60s psychedelia and garage rock with '70s hard rock and '80s punk.

Screaming Trees - Clairvoyance. CD. (Hall Of Records - HOR1112) Debut album by the psychedelia inspired seattle band, first released in 1986. Their energetic take on garage rock and sampling is surprisingly accomplished for their first long player, this was nearly the finished article rather than simply a tesing of the waters for the Tree's. Sadly the group never got the major breakthrough they deserved despite their connection / friendship to other Seattle monster groups of the era like Nirvana and Soundgarden.
