First ever UK CD release for the debut album by 70's legends Smokie, totally remastered. At this point, they were a pet project for legendary English pop producers Nicky Chinn and Mike Chapman, this is a fascinating first step to stardom for the four piece. Original thirteen track album released in '75 expanded with one bonus cut: "Couldn't Live." Booklet contains original LP artwork, lyrics to all the songs, detailed liner notes plus pictures of European singles sleeves.

Smokie - Bright Lights & Back Alleys. CD. (7Ts - GLAMCD 39)

Smoie's fourth album, released in 1977, finds the group expanding their sonic horizons to incorporate psychedelic Beatle influences, hard rock and even the odd reggae touch. The original ten track release now features three bonus tracks: "Now You Think You Know", "Lay Back In The Arms Of Someone" and "Here Lies a Man." Totally re-mastered, this now comes complete with original LP artwork, lyrics, detailed liner notes and loads of rare European only picture sleeves.

Smokie - Other Side Of The Road. CD. (7Ts - GLAMCD 41)

Long overdue CD re-issue of Smokies 1979 studio album "The Other Side Of The Road", totally remastered. It was a hit in Germany where they had strong chart positioning throughout their career, while it's success remained sporadic everywhere else. Notably an album filled with strong melodies and some fine arrangements, it is marked by one of the most soulful vocal performances Chris Norman ever gave. The original thirteen track album has been expanded with four bonus numbers: "Cryin", "Did She Have To Go Away", "You're You" and "Maybe I Just Don't Know." Booklet contains original LP artwork, liner notes, lyrics and loads of pictures of rare European singles sleeves.
