Artist Listing : Speakers (los) (5 products)

Speakers (los) - Tuercas,tornillos Y Alicates. CD. (Bambuco - DBS4022)

Reissue of the rare third album (1967) by the legendary Columbian 60's fuzz garage/beat/psych outfit. This album is more beat than psych for the most part but features a spacey production that makes the whole thing otherworldly. It includes some nice Spanish covers of Dylan and Beatles, and English version of Byrds 'Mr Spaceman' plus some originals.

Speakers (los) - Speakers (los). CD. (Bambuco - DB4026)

The first time on CD for the superb fourth album (1967) and the first really psychedelic album by the legendary Colombian band Los Speakers. The covers of the earlier albums are gone to be replaced by a weird amalgam of rave-up crunchers, dreamy introspective numbers and Kinks-esque oom-pah tunes all accompanied by bizarre organ filigree. Not quite a weird as their 1968 album "En El Maravilloso Mundo De Ingeson" from 1968 but close!

Speakers (los) - En El Maravilloso Mundo De Ingeson. LP. (Polydor - 220107)

A Colombian band who released this, their fifth and final album in Mexico in 1968. It's a bizarre garage psych album with snatches of Mutantes like folk-weirdness, experimental oddities and fuzz filled acid rock. Imagine a cross between Mutantes and the Mothers Of Invention! (this album was released on vinyl as Cris Cringle a few years back in the wrong sleeve). Now available in a stunning laminated gatefold reproduction of the original cover. Very limited.

Speakers (los) - En El Maravilloso Mundo De Ingeson. CD. (Bambuco - ADBS4026)

Musically, the album is as psychedelic as you may dream from a South American '68 album. With acid guitar, sound effects, playing withrepetitive sounds and incisive lyrics in Spanish language. (this album was released on vinyl as Cris Cringle a few years back in the wrong sleeve)

Speakers (los) - Casa Del Sol Naciente. CD. (AMBUCO - DB4017)

First time on CD (mono pressing) for another 60's psychedelic/garage/beat album by Colombia's most renowned band. An excellent album with nice psychedelia, nice acid guitar, effects etc. Includes covers of "Satisfaction" & "Roll Over Beethoven" in the manic style this group has become known for. Great stuff. Miniature replica of the original gatefold sleeve.
