A delightfully melodic and nuanced collection of psych-tinged acoustic pop, written and recorded in the depths of the English countryside, and sure to appeal to fans of acts such as Devendra Banhart, Joanna Newsom, Current 93, Circulus and Espers as well as older names such as the Incredible String Band, COB, Comus and Vashti Bunyan. This is acoustic folk music with a creepy psychedelic air and arcane lyrics, featuring guitars, flutes, churning background instruments and stunning harmony vocals. All tracks have a true and honest end of 60s feel - dual vocals, acoustic guitars and beautiful harmonies - without any 'neo'-expression. Tom Welham's guitar style and vocals bring to mind Syd Barrett at his most sober/normal.
