Tom Middleton Presents Crazy Covers 2 - Various. Dble CD. DJ extraordinaire Tom Middleton's quest for the ultimate collection of quirky cover versions began after he was offered a warm up set by permanently teary eyed indie popsters Snow Patrol. Playing only covers sent the crowd into a frothy mouthed frenzy and Middleton's journey began: to create the best covers compilation known to man. Already onto it's second volume, this series looks set to take off. Split over two discs subtitled Party and Beautiful (you can hopefully guess why), this aims to have a greater diversity than it's predecessor. Highlights include "Sunshine Of Your Love" by Ella Fitzgerald, "Unfinished Symphony" by Tina Turner, Ian Brown's version of "Thriller", Hayseed Dixie's version of "I Don't Feel Like Dancin'" and Paul Anka's version of "Smells Like Teen Spirit."
