Tyrannosaurus Rex - There Was A Time - Live At Middle Earth Club. CD. (T Rex Action - TAG 200001) An amazing historic recording of the Rex's first ever gig at the legendary Middle Earth Club. Although the recording is not fantastic it has been carefully cleaned and balanced. These are the earliest surviving recordings of Marc and Took together and is a great insight to the duo. Mystical folky etheral perfomances of "Hot Rod Mama", "The Wizard", "Hippy Gumbo" and "Lunacy's Back". Bonus four live tracks from a late '67 London gig. A must for the complete Bolan collector.

Tyrannosaurus Rex - Prophets, Seers & Sages (remastered). CD. (A&M Records - 9822510) Digital remaster of the second album from 1968, is chock full of wistful, pastoral mushroom tunes that adhered them to and identified them with the UK underground scene. Backed by Steve Peregrine Took's enthusiastic bongos, Marc Bolan's acoustic guitar and elfin vocals shine out like the sun on a spring sunrise, with "Deboraarobed" being particularly mesmeric.This slipcased remaster contains 14 bonus tracks and a detailed 14 page booklet.

(Chrome Dreams - CDCD5004) Rare mixing desk recording of a live show from 1969 at the Lyceum in London as part of 'John Peel's Midnight Court' (a series of concerts hosted by Peel featuring his favourite bands of the time). Exclusively licensed by the Bolan estate and featuring a limited edition bonus disc with an exclusive interview with Bolan recorded in Chicago that year. Includes a sixteen page booklet with rare photos and housed in a period slipcase.

Tyrannosaurus Rex - Bolan At The Beeb. 3-CD Box Set. (Polydor - 5302923) This attractive box set contains all of the surviving Tyrannosaurus Rex (two discs) and T Rex (1 disc) recordings Bolan made for the BBC between 1967 and 1971. The most comprehensive retrospective of his Beeb sessions, it includes tracks recorded for Bob Harris, Dave Lee Travis, Radio 1 Club, Top Gear and Night Ride, plus some live tracks from the Paris Theatre. Includes: "Conesuala", "Elemental Child", "Jeepster" and "Bob Harris Jingle."
