(Small Stones - SS059) VALIS, which stands for 'Vast Active Living Intelligence System', are a collaboration between Mudhoney's Dan Peters and the Screaming Trees' Van Conner, (TAD's Kurt alongside former members of Kitty Kitty. This is their second album and features plenty of sludge-drenched, theramin- infused wah rock, liable to appeal to fans of Fu Manchu, Queens Of The Stone Age, Nebula, Kyuss, Los Natas, Farflung and even Acid Mothers Temple. Previously featuring twelve tracks: now expanded to seventeen.
