The Vampires appeared several times at the famous Star Club and won the club's 'Battle of the Bands' competition in 1966. The four tracks here are all previously unreleased, two originals and two covers. Beat garage, soulful rock sum up their style. ' You're Time Has Gone' is the pick of the bunch a great beat/garage horn and organ driven sound with solid guitars. Reminiscent of Graham Bond or Alan Bown Set.
