Vibrators - Pure Mania & V2. CD. (Track Records - TRK1013CD) Classic official remastered release 2 on 1 of their first two albums from 1977/78 .Both albums contain songs that are catchy and listenable, the lyrics are very capable in both releases, and the arrangements have much more variety and color than most punk records of the time. Both Knox (aka Ian Carnarchan) and Pat Collier had a genius for writing short, punchy songs with sneering melody lines and gutsy guitar breaks.

(MVD - 0R1111DVD) Still making a raucous noise all these years since those first powerchords were struck, Knox and his band of belligerent Beaconsfield bovver boys (OK,calm down-Ed) are captured live on this excellent quality 2004 DVD, filmed at the legendary CBGB in New York a year or so before its closure. All the hits are here- 'Automatic Lover' 'Baby Baby' 'Judy Says' 'Whips And Furs' 'Disco In Moscow' 'Amphetamine Blue' 'Troops Of Tomorrow' (later made famous by the Exploited) and 'Yeah Yeah Yeah', plus later material, thus capturing the full experience of a gig by one of the original punk/pub rock greats.

Vibrators - Meltdown/Vicious Circle. CD. (Anagram Records - CDPUNK58) The band's seventh and eighth studio LP's are no joined together on this 25 track collection. Both albus were originally issued by FM Revolver Records, "Meltdown" in 1988 and "Vicious Circle" year later. Twenty years on from their first release, The Vibrators are stll going strong and are still an in-demand attraction on the international punk scene.

(Anagram Records - CDPUNK132) The Vibrators are one of punk’s founding fathers and still have a large worldwide fanbase, still touring around the world pleasing old fans as well as gaining new ones. A welcome release for this 1994 album which has been much in demand and has been unavailable for over 5 years. The Beaconsfield band, despite their beginnings in ther world of pub rock and R'n'B, got their break at the infamous punk festival held at the 100 Club in 1976 and went on to release one of the first ever UK punk singles. Yes, the cover to this album is the same as Survivor's "Eye Of The Tiger", but Knox has asked us not to mention it. . .oops.
