W.A.S.P. - Unholy Terror (CD With Book). CD + Book. (Metal-Is - MISBX005) A powerhouse album from one of the 80s' biggest metal legends, still a massive attraction today. After years in the wilderness it seems that their second coming finally came in th early Noughties, as they were realised to be the forefathers of half of the era's post-Manson shock rock. 'Unholy Terror' was an unrepentantly Metallic yet still defiantly melodic album, and verily indeed doth rock the nads off one.

W.A.S.P. - Still Not Black Enough. CD. (Essential - ESMCD790) "I am truly the strangest person I know" says W.A.S.P. controller Blackie Lawless. Quite a statement from someone who got married in a leather posing pouch. This 1885 album took both the band and Blackie to the edge, as he painted a searing msical portrait of his own psyche on the verge of disintegration. Metal at is scariest and most honest.

W.A.S.P. - K.F.D. (Kill Fuck Die). CD. (Essential - ESMCD791) Blackie Lawless rejoined forces with fellow W.A.S.P. veteran Chris Holmes for this album, which lived out every bit of his boast: 'I am a very angry songwriter'. Terrifying and intense in places: even the instrumentals such as 'Fetus' have that cold chill about them. Yes, there is a similarity in the songs to Trent Reznor, but they do say that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.
