Wackers - Wackering Heights. CD. (Collectors Choice - CCM0619)

Produced by Gary Usher of Byrds fame, the Wackers 1971 debut was out of step with the heavy (Led Zep) and heavily produced fare in fashion at the time, full of jangly guitars, three-part harmonies and rock n roll attitude.(featured Bob Segarini of Family Tree). The predictable result: mediocre sales but great critical acclaim! And, boy, does this record sound good now; includes Travelin Time; Body Go Round; Country Queen; Strangers; Dont Put down the Singer; I Dont Want My Love Refused; White House; I Like; On the Way Up; Such a Good Thing; No Place for the Children', and a cover of Elvis' 'Dont Be Cruel'.

Wackers - Shredder. CD. (Collectors Choice - CCM 6212)

'Shredder' began as a side project for head Wackers Bob Segarini (Family Tree) and Randy Bishop, but morphed into a full-fledged Wackers album and, ironically, probably the one that best captured their freewheeling live spirit. It also scored their sole hit, 'Day and Night', which leads off the record, followed by 'Hey Lawdy Lawdy; Ill Believe in You; Put Myself to Sleep; Eventually, Even You Even Me; Coming Apart; Its My LIfe; Beach Song; Buck Duckdog Memorial Jam (Our Ships Comin in, My Old Lady, You Really Got Me)', and 'Last Dance'. A rollicking end to a true rock n roll band.

Wackers - Hot Wacks. CD. (Collectors Choice - CCM6202)

Gone were the acoustic guitars of the debut album and in came the harder edge electrics and the sound their live shows wielded. In fact, the band fell out with producer Gary Usher during the mixdown as they wanted a rawer sound. Includes a great cover of John & Yoko's "Oh My Love".
