Watersons - Frost And Fire. CD. (Topic Records - TSCD563)

Remastered release of the Watersons most famous album. First out in 1965, it is essentially a concept album with the songs following the passage of the year. A hugely important album that effectively turned the scene on its head, it's power and originality hasn't diminished. The voices of Lal, Norma and Mike Waterson (and John Harrison) are as unified and as glorious as ever. Remastered from the original tapes which has given the whole thing a new lease of life. Packaged with slipcase and a new expanded booklet.

Watersons - Sound, Sound Your Instrument Of Joy. CD. (Topic Records - TSCD564)

1977 release by the gifted quartet making its debut on CD. This uplifting album is a panorama of folk-based sacred song and musical styles, the energy and clarity of the four voices are richly enhanced by the remasterering process. As always their choices are perfect, many of the obscure tracks would potentially vanish or never be known by a large audience without their sympathetic interpretations. Housed in a digipack, with a 16 page booklet with full notes and lyrics for all the songs.
