Tangerine Dream - Phaedra. CD. (Virgin Records - TAND 5) Remastered edition of this German bands 1974 landmark album. Along with Rubycon this album virtually established the synth muisc genre and was a huge success commercially. Tangerine Dream had moved from their underground roots to become a major act specialising is vast atmospheric landscapes of sound with repetitive rhythms and sequences laced with reverb and layers of electronic effects.
