Children Of One - Children Of One. CD. (Label: Arkarma, Cat.No: AD534) Children Of One’s sole album was release towards the end of the ‘60s. A very rare and rather obscure psych-rock delice for avid fans, it’s heavily influenced by the so-called Eastern trend.This quartet from New York picked several typical indian instruments like sitar, tablas and others.Improvisation is largely present in their songs and overall the felling is that of a really forgotten gem that ranks up there with the best productions of that era.Richly packaged in the new Akarma DeLuxe line with stunning quality re-mastering	Fort Mudge Memorial Dump - Fort Mudge Memorial Dump. CD. (Label: Arkarma, Cat.No: AK385) Fort Mudge Memorial Dump was a band from Walpole, Massachusetts, that started playing by 1969, gathering a good number of fans. They got filed into the 'Boston Sound', among the Ultimate Spinach, the Beacon Street Union, Orpheus, Tangerine Zoo, ecc. With good technique and better ideas, they recorded a very sought-after LP in which the voice of Caroline Stratton stands out to some Jefferson Airplane affinity. Guitarist Dean Keady, with his jazzy effects, leads the band. This is a very much anticipated release and a sure buy for all collectors.
Blue Cheer - Vincebus Eruptum (Signed Copies). LP. (Label: Philips, Cat.No: PHS600264) Signed copies by Paul Whaley & Dickie Peterson of this hard rock, acid rock and stoner rock monster. Named after a brand of LSD this band melted brains. This the debut from 1968 contains the classic cuts "Summertime Blues", "Rock Me Baby" and "Parchment Farm" the massive 7 minute "Second Time Around" and 2 more.Pressed on the Philips label as per the original.WE ONLY HAVE 3 COPIES OF THIS SIGNED VERSION.	Lightening - Severe Stoner Hard Rock Thunder. CD. (Label: Arf! Arf!, Cat.No: AA 100) 1968-1971". Lightning was an offshoot of Minneapolis 60s legends Litter that featured guitar wizard Tom "Zippy" Caplan. After recording the Litters 1966 garage classic Distortions and 1968 psych masterpiece $100 Fine, Caplan split from the Litter and formed Lightning. This authorized CD reissue includes their entire LP, the aforementioned 45, plus six additional bonus tracks (including edited 45 mixes of two album tracks) all wrapped in an archival 12-page booklet with lots of photos and liner notes by Litterscribe Doug Sheppard.
Country Joe McDonald - At The Bordeline 18th April 2006. Dble CD. (Label: Rag Baby Records Co., Cat.No: ) Wonderful double CD set in a limited edition of 1000 copies that captures a solo Country Joe running through the best moments of his 40 year career. His voice is unspoilt and this album has the same feel as the Incredible! Live! Album in that it is performed in front of an intimate audience and Joe is on top form and in great humour. The set features numerous classics, many from the CJ and the Fish era, including "Rock Coast Blues" "Section 43" "Here I go Again" "Not So Sweet Martha Lorraine" and others. Pretty much an essential purchase for fans of this man's music!	Neil Young - Chrome Dreams II. CD. (Label: Reprise Records, Cat.No: 9362499171) Neil Young continues his recent flood of creativity that has yielded the widely acclaimed albums 'Greendale', 'Prairie Wind' and two 'Living With War' sets. Produced by Neil Young with Niko Bolas at Feelgood's Garage studio near Redwood City, California, Young is backed by Crazy Horse drummer Ralph Molina, pedal steel guitarist and dobro player Ben Keith ('Harvest', 'Comes A Time', 'Harvest Moon') and bassist Rick Rosas ('Freedom', 'Living With War', 'This Note's For You').
Ed Askew - Little Eyes. CD. (Label: DE STIJL, Cat.No: IND032CD) An interesting, and undoubtedly unconscious, competition has cropped up amongst indie record labels over the last five years or so. With the success of the re-releases of long lost albums by artists like Vashti Bunyan and Sibylle Baier, a number of labels have been shaking trees and digging beneath porches to try to find the rarest works to slip into the tea of the record buying public. As you might expect, the smaller the label, the more interesting the music they seem to dig up. Case in point: De Stijl Records giving the world their first chance to hear the second album by the psych folk wonder, Ed Askew. The tiny New York label has been plying hungry listeners with obscure gems by the likes of Michael Yonkers and the Black Vial, but they scored their biggest coup yet by allowing this record to see the light of day, 30 years after it was first recorded.At the time the album was recorded, Askew was signed to the venerable ESP label, the imprint that had released his brilliant work Ask the Unicorn. He recorded this album not long after the release of that album in 1969, but the label ran out of money and couldn't put it out. Luckily, it couldn't be abetter time for Askew's work to be reexamined by the intelligentsia of the music world	Appletree Theatre - Playback. CD. (Label: , Cat.No: SP302) Official release of the 1968 studio project spotlighting the talents of brothers John and Terry Boylan (with guitarist Larry Coryell and L.A. sessions players), who released one of the year's more interesting collections of soft pop/ being overdosed on acid with lots of freaky effects throughout.It contains the exquisite "What A Way To Go" and the whole album should definitely be checked out on headphones.

(Label: , Cat.No: CDDP023) Garage & psychedelic legend from Argentina. First LP 1967 + second lp 1968 plus 8 bonus tracks. Never before on cd, all bonus tracks are non LP singles. In fact, Los Walkers were the Argentine response to "Los Shakers" and "Los Mockers" (that were from Uruguay). The first Lp is like a sort of garage classics and included 3 tracks written by themselves. We have covers of Them - Small faces - Lemmon Pipers - Doors - Kinks - Stones, all of them in a very special and peculiar versions. Their second album is a bit more psychedelic. The booklet brings extensive lines and photos. 32 songs - 77 minutes !!
Fuzz, Acid & Flowers Revisited - Deluxe Edition Gold-Embossed Hardback. Book. (Label: Borderline, Cat.No: ) Deluxe, Gold-Foil-Embossed Faux-Leather Hardback! Don't miss this limited edition hard back version of Fuzz, Acid and Flowers Revisited. Originally published in paperback, this is the most detailed guide to US psychedelia, garage and hippie-rock of the 1964-1975 era ever published! It provides an A-Z listing of relevant artists with discographies, personnel details, band histories, comment on the music and, in some cases, includes the personal recollections of band members. Individual entries also include details of reissues, appearances on retrospective compilations and chart entries. There is also a rarity scale for albums. At the end of the book, which has been assembled with the help of avid record collectors, there is a list of all compilations referred to with the label details and year of release as well as discographies for three leading sixties reissue labels: Sundazed, Gear Fab and Akarma. (Label: Akarma, Cat.No: AK-382) Maximillian was formed by 3 N.Y. based musicians who adopted much of the power trio style and line-up (bass, guitar, drums) releasing this sole album in 1969. Led by guitarsit Mojack Maximillian and produced by songwriter Teddy Vann, they deliver a soul bluesy infected psych-rock, full of fuzz and wah-wah distorsions and effects. The LP has meanwhile become extremely rare, whicl this CD has been properly remastered and elegantly digi-packaged.
Jefferson Airplane - At The Family Dog Ballroom. CD. (Label: Snapper, Cat.No: SNAP293CD) Recorded this time at the famous San Franciscan venue in September 1969 when the group was at the peak of its considerable power. Only recently unearthed from the archives, this release is sure to be most welcomed by all fans of prime West Coast psychedelia and it comes from one of the genres finest exponents. An inspired performance by the classic group line-up of Paul Kantner (guitar, vocals), Grace Slick (vocals), Marty Balin (vocals), Jorma (lead guitar, vocal), Jack Casady (bass) and Spencer Dryden (drums). For the closing 26-minute ‘Jam’ they are joined by the Grateful Dead’s Jerry Garcia, whose distinctive guitar sound adds a new and unique dimension to the group’s sound. ‘Come Back Baby’, never recorded by the group in the studio, features a rare lead vocal from Jorma Kaukonen. Old favourites include ‘Crown Of Creation" and 'Somebody To Love', along with five new numbers from their forthcoming studio album ‘Volunteers’ making this a must-have release for fans. Taken from the best available audio sources, these superb performances have been meticulously restored for this release - not previously available on CD before.	Blue Cheer - What Doesn't Kill You?.
