Recorded in 1996 this brilliant live CD contains 4 tracks by Hans-Joachim Roedelius & Dieter Moebius who use their usual electronic wizardry to create.inspired keyboard tapestries.These tracks play off of sustained sounds and atmospheres, and their long running times make them more digestible, as does their variety of moods and textures. Die Krupps - Foundation. CD. (Captain Trip - CTCD057)

Along with Front 242, the German group Die Krupps stands as one of the innovators of the subgenre of modern Euro kraut-rock that has been dubbed "body music" - a sound characterized by its dense electronic makeup as well as its harsh, visceral execution. This excellent Japanese collection is made up of a very early live set from 1981 and 7 bonus tracks of re-mixes,long versions etc. All housed with an informative booklet in Japanese and obi strip.

A brilliant album of far-out music from the incredibly fertile Japanese psychedelic scene.

Legendary NY horror punk band from the late 70s debut album which never got a UK release. This Japanese re-issue features the original nine studio tracks, nine songs from a gig at CBGBs in NYC and a special version of the track "We Love Noize" mixed by the late Johnny 19. Mad 3 - Lost Tokyo. CD. (Captain Trip - RNR2)

Eddie Legend (Guitar Hero,ex The 5.6.7.8's) is the god sent saviour of rock n' roll. This man absorbed punk, mod and Garage early on and conspired with friends Haruto(Bass) and Kyo (Drums) in 1989 to become Mad 3. This 2006 gem is Mad 3's masterpiece of their 17 years career. This album was produced by themselves, including art work and distribution(Japan only), and was constructed in a fortress of mystery in Yokkaichi, industry city. It's 13 instrumental acid garage tracks of Japanese R&R which explodes with "Lost Tokyo" as the anthem. The track, "Spy From Kyoto" was recorded in England 2005 during their last UK tour. This song was produced by Mad 3's big fan, Gabba (ex-Chaos U.K. famous 80's UK punk band) . This album is totally instrumental letting the music speak for itself by sending us into another world. Mini card gatefold sleeve with gold foil printing! Very limited.

This album was the band's only release dating from 1977. Superb funky/jazzy late '70's Kraut rock with a twist featuring a female vocalist from Ghana (Maria Archer) They could have gone on to bigger and better things had their entire equipment not been stolen. Great ripping guitar work and jazzy excursions similar to late '70's Gong. Only 2500 albums were pressed on initial release making this Captain Trip CD a welcome re-issue.

From Japan comes this beautifully packaged 13-CD box set containing all of the Ya Ho Wa albums plus two discs of unreleased and related material. Some of the CD's also have bonus tracks. The wild results of this US cult have bemused, horrified and amazed psych collectors the world over. Psychedelia, free-form acid rock mayhem, general weirdness and magical chants all go to make up the enigma of this strange '70s US hippy cult, led by the Grey haired "Son Of God" Yahowah. Sky Saxon features on several discs and with the whole collection housed in an LP sized box with a book then this really is the last word in Ya Ho Wa... Very limited!
