At times rocking as you would hope, this is a deeply emotional / personal album by Mayall's standards ,featuring twelve remastered original numbers.

Moody Blues - Seventh Sojourn. Hybrid SACD (stereo/5.1). (Decca - 9845507)

SACD digi version of the 1972 and the Moodies seventh album. Featuring hit singles "I'm Just A Singer (In A Rock And Roll Band)" (written by John Lodge in response to all the stoned loony fans who believed the Moodies actually knew the answers to the cosmos) and "Isn't Life Strange" this continued their trend away from progressive epics towards a more song-based body of work. All the usual components were still evident though, from Justin Hayward's wistful lyricisms- particularly on his most accomplished composition to date, "Land Of Make Believe"- to the strong songwriting of the other band members. This is the album played on numerous Appollo space missions!

Strictly limited 180 gram pressing (not with the original 3D sleeve but featuring instead a trippy reflective psychedelic print surface) from the DSD remastered tapes. A beautiful, beautiful psychedelic album from 1967 that is a much better record than most people give it credit for!
