Blue Oyster Cult - Tales Of The Psychic Wars. Dble LP. (Fruit Tree - FT815)

BÖC captured live in New York City in 1982 during the 'Fire Of Unknown Origin' tour. Contains great versions of "Dr Music", "Burnin' For You", "Joan Crawford", "Godzilla" and (of course) "Don't Fear The Reaper" as well as covers of "Born To Be Wild" and "Roadhouse Blues". Pressed on 180 gram vinyl and complete in gatefold sleeve.

Canned Heat - Dimples. CD. (Fruit Tree - FT848)

Canned Heat one of the founding names of US heavy blues rock, was formed in 1965 by Al "Blind Owl" Wilson and Bob "The Bear" Hite. Before hitting the charts in 1968 with their version of Jim Oden’s "On The Road Again" (#20 in the USA, # 10 in the UK), here is how they sounded in 1966 when music giant Johnny Otis produced their first recordings. Little Feat - Late Night Truck Stop. Dble LP. (Fruit Tree - FT 823)

Live album from Little Feat recorded in 1973 whilst the band were touring to promote their third album 'Dixie Chicken'. This show at Ebbetts Field in Denver, CO is widely regarded to be the best show the band ever played, all of which is included on this double LP set. Gritty southern blues rock with a laid back funky vibe and country touches made Little Feat one of the great 70s bands. Gatefold sleeve and 180 gram vinyl.

Beautiful double vinyl issue of the great album by this US experimental rock band who combine the best elements of psychedelia, jazz fusion and space rock in a blistering instrumental stew that includes lashings of moogs and mellotrons. Also includes probably our favourite track title of the year so far - "The Evolution Of Smells In An Underground Parking Garage After An All Night Rave". Vinyl includes two bonus tracks - one a whole side long!
