Extreme Noise Terror - Holocaust In Your Head/In It For Life. CD. (Golf - CDHOLE144) Two classic hardcore/thrash crossover albums repackaged and reissued on the rather unlikely Golf records, a label better known for their forays into ska and pop-punk. 'Crustcore' as they called it back then (cf Doom, Electro Hippies, Stupids, Napalm Death etc) was more than just a fad, it was yet another branch of the exciting and ever growing myriad trees that we call metal and punk, stretching out in strange directions. These two albums were released in 1989 and 1999 respectively and both feature the short, sharp, screeching blasts of uncompromising anarchist-leftist noise that the band are famous for, although if stories are to be believed their on-tour antics are anything but puritanical!! Nearly thirty tracks, all of which go 'AAAAAAAAARGH' just the way they should.

Gang Green - The Taang Years. Dble CD. (Golf - CDHOLE141) It seems strange that these Boston hardcorists should now be regarded as such a seminal force in both punk and metal, but regarded they are- I guess over 20 years their stature has grown, and it 's largely due to albums like this, namely their 1984 debut "Another Wasted Night" and their mid-90s classic "Another Case Of Brewtality", both originally released on Taang!, and both collected here on double CD for the first time. Comprising altogether 39 tracks, that have influenced everyone from Metallica through the Dropkick Murphys to Sum 41, this is the exact opposite of the term "straight edge" and all the more fun for it. Comes complete with full and comprehensive historical liner notes!!

Poison Idea - Kings Of Punk. Dble CD. (Golf - CDHOLE143) To some the ultimate US punk act, the legendary and quite literally larger than life Poison Idea are a seminal force in any genre of aggressive music. This 2CD set collects their first two albums including the suspiciously titled "Record Collectors Are Pretentious Assholes" (er, we'll gloss over that for now) and still, after over 20 years, explodes in a fury of spit, snot, beer and head-mowing riffage. Originally on the equally legendary TAANG! label , now rereleased through Golf, these are milestones of US hardcore that no self respecting mosher should miss. Grabbem!!!

Snuff - High Octane Video Wonders. DVD. (Golf - DVDHOLE076) Punk legends Snuff get the DVD treatment! The DVD features the band live in Japan with superb sound and film quality, (classy mate this is!) a must for any Snuff fan and any self respecting punker.Region 0 PAL disc.
