One of the rarest albums ever, this reissue includes the full original Decca album from 1971 plus ONE extra bonus track" It's Gonna Get Better".This really is a classic slice of UK rock with a dual guitar attacks which blaze over the vocals of Pete French (Brunning Sunflower Band,Cactus etc). Hard blues based rhythms and long tracks make this a winner from start to finish and perfectly captures that '70s rock ethos. This CD has been taken from the original master tapes.
Seriously weird '60's electronic psychedelia from the US based around a Theramin (hence the band name). This CD compiles the best 15 cuts from their two late '60's Capitol albums including the well known single "Machines". Similar in some respects to the acclaimed Silver Apples, loaded with theramin and moogs but delivered in a quirky pop style. The track Space Hymn is particularly memorable as the band attempt to actually hypnotise the listener ! Great!!!

Classic second album from 1969, by the first line up of the Welsh psych/prog rock band who drew on US West Coast influences such as Love and The Doors. A fine example of US influenced UK psych.
Debut album from 1968 by the Welsh legends. Arguably their most psychedelic album, it features plenty of West Coast influences and weird effects such as during the psych sex blast "Erotica" and the beautiful flowing instrumental cut "Prelude/The Storm". Plenty of jamming Keyboard and guitar work results in a gem of UK psych.

Michael Chapman ploughed similar territory to Roy Harper and on this, his finest album, he is joined by Mick Ronson (Bowie) on guitar with Paul Buckmaster (Third Ear Band) putting together the string arrangements. Introspective and darkly evocative songs with lush production and execution.

Four killer pre-album cuts by this seminal US '70s punk/glam band who mixed MC5/Stooges like power with a snotty Stones like swagger. These tracks really capture the power of this band better than the albums... Managed by Malcolm McLaren the band went on to influence the Sex Pistols.

Long gone release of 28 minutes of previously unreleased live in the studio Pink Floyd from 1967 including the 16 minute version of Interstellar Overdrive and the unreleased Nicks Boogie, plus interviews. Stunning sound quality. LAST COPY

26 track CD that contains a collection of mid sixties English and French EP's.The assemblage of music on this CD means that listening to this disc in one sitting isn't at all repetitive. The sound is excellent throughout, and the CD is broken down neatly between the band's various phases. The booklet annotation is superb and is supported by great photos of the original 7" artwork. Back in print here are the first two and best albums by the UK theatrical progressive folk rock band who made two albums for John Peel's Dandelion label, the second of which was produced by Nick Mason of Pink Floyd. If you are looking for all out late' 60's hippy acid folk rock then this is the real deal. With a large band of musicians and a traveling circus troupe Principal Edwards Magic Theatre create a witchy magical LSD inspired brew of electric acid rock and off the wall whimsical folk (in places like Comus or Mormos) that is at it's peak on the Soundtrack album (1969) and in a more progressive vein on Asmoto Running Band. Totally beautiful, unhinged, incense imbued velveteen, floppy madness.
Now deleted compilation of the legendary '60s West Coast acid guitar merchants.Contains all tha classics and the mind meltingly beautiful 'Fresh Air'.Last copy ever.
Late '60s UK Singer/Songwriter in a mould similar to early Tim Buckley. Acoustic/electric songs with great harmonies and a real '60s vibe, that in places gives you the impression that this is an American album. Tijs Van Leer and Jan Akkerman of Focus play on some tracks. Long deleted.... we have a few....
Originally on the Mushroom label this masterpiece is a journey into the darker corners of the mind. Coming on like Arthur Brown's Kingdom Come meets Caravan, it's a melodic but insane collection of progressive weirdness. Includes three bonus tracks, two of which have never appeared anywhere before. Originally the soundtrack to a bizarre UK horror/art film shot by British Black Panther member Frankie Dymon Jr, the title ws of course later filched by Guy Stevens for the opening cut of Mott The Hoople's 'Brain Capers' masterpiece. Unhinged genius.…
Both mid '70s albums on one disc, by the band that came out of UK progressive/psych legends Secondhand. Building a more space rock oriented sound the band mix experimental synth excursions with good melodic songs, loaded with effects. Comparable at times to Kingdom Come (but without the bombastic vocals) these albums are forgotten classics. "Star Palace Of The Sombre Warrior" is particularly stunning.
We have found 1 copy of this deleted item that contains both classic album's on one CD, from this excellent late '60's/ early Seventies festival band. Freak / psych / prog vibes combine with a west coast feel. Great musicianship highlighted by really long jamming tracks, assorted instrumentation and good songs. ..highly recommended albums.
Live album orginally on Harvest Records that documented a series of French gigs in July 1977. Contains parts 1 and 2 of "Odds Bullets and Blades", "Puffin", "Huffin", "The Nodder" and a whole slew of other cuts. Still sounds fresh after all these years and hints at the orchestral leanings that would develop later in Karl Jenkins' career. A couple of copies of this now DELETED album have resurfaced, catch them quick or they will be gone.
The Softs' first album on Harvest, recorded in 1975. Only Mike Ratledge remains from the original lineup, but still plenty of the jazzy progressive rock one would expect.
1973 pop rock group featuring Elaine Page: I'm Coming Back; Well I Can Tell You; Don't Ask Me; Nightmar; Many Things Are Clear; Roller Coaster; Dream Song; Round & Round; Break My Heart Again; Rainsun Song; Hiawatha; Hello Goodbye.
Both albums from this excellent Michigan band on one CD. Featuring twin lead guitars and Hammond organ, plus layered vocal harmonies these are classic US '60s psych albums. Includes the powerful "Black Sheep".... Essential!
The best of the band formed by Michael Brown after the demise of The Left Banke. Packed with all his trademark vocal style Stories added a powerful rock edge to a stunning mixture of textures and production effects. Their stunning 1973 album (some of which is featured here) rivals Led Zep's "Houses Of the Holy" for sheer invention and inspired rock creativity.
Both albums on one CD from this US '60s Bay Area outfit who mix elements of the West Coast harmony psych scene ala Peanut Butter Conspiracy, with heavier guitar led acid rock. An official release which includes the excellent "Tripping Into Sunshine" amongst a good selection of quality US West Coast psych tracks.
Both superb albums by this early '70s UK band who changed name in mid career and released two albums for Dandelion records... Superb progressive psych with excellent songs, vocal harmonies and guitar work. Sounds like Hawkwind meets the early Pink Fairies with a splash of acoustic Led Zep. Essential for any serious collector.....
