3/3 are Reck (guitar, vocals), Higo Hiroshi (bass) and Chiko Hige (drums). The name was inspired by a Japanese comic (4/4). In February 1975 3/3 ( Sanbun No San) released this album in a tiny pressing of 15 copies only to get a record deal. The cover was homemade and the recording sounds live but without audience. The music is ultra heavy guitar dominated psychedelic rock like a mixture of Blue Cheer, MC5 and early Punk / New Wave bands. The sound quality is mediocre but the music is a blaster. 3/3 has never released another recording. Both Reck and Hige then moved to New York where they stayed for over a year and played with James Chance & the Contortions, Lydia Lunch (Teenage Jesus & The Jerks) and others (No New York movement). They returned to Japan in 1978 to start a new group which became very famous: Friction, who certainly had a big influence on the late 1970's Japanese punk and new wave scene. This album of 3/3 is the rarest underground album ever released in Japan.180 gram pressing on black wax and screen print sleeve.300 copies only.
Jewel case version of the album that featured in Hans Pokora's 4001 book as one of the rarest items from Asia this beautiful album features, well crafted songs with melodic vocals, spacey '60's styled keyboards, trippy floating melodies, flute, electronic effects and some tasteful fuzz guitar work. Eastern psychedelic sounds with a unique, Indonesian touch. If you like Juan De La Cruz or the Cambodian rocks compilations, this one is for you. Very special.
Super rare US garage album that has shade of late '60s UK Pop Psike. Mainly original compositions, it also includes a cover version of "Eleanor Rigby". The general feel is up beat pop garage with a distinctly whimsical quality. Good harmonies, with keyboards guitar etc. Released on Shadoks on heavy vinyl and housed in a hard card sleeve.

Here is one of the best CD's we ever laid our hands on. Perhaps as good as Public Nuisance and Brain Police . The album was recorded in April 1968 at Western Sound Recorders L.A. for a famous surf label, but was never released. Songs such as: "Loneliness Is A Sometime Thing", "Dead Woman Blues" and "Deaf Priscilla" are outstanding but as highlights of this album we would vote all 14 tracks. Just perfect vocals, tons of fuzz guitar and tough lyrics. We will love this album forever.Fully detailed liner notes.

1971 Californian psych rock rarity which features competent boogie blues and hard rock whilst at the same time managing to conjour up some decidedly trippy lead guitar wig-outs that would not be out of place on an Endless Journey comp. 180 gram vinyl and super heavy duty sleeve limited to 450 copies.

For the first time Blo is released with the original gatefold sleeve. This band from Nigeria became very famous among collectors worldwide. Perhaps this is the most sought after album from Africa. The 3 members, Berkely Jones, Laolu Akintobi and Mike Odumosu created the name BLO from B for Berkely, L for Laolu and O for Odumosu. 2 members toured with Ginger Baker in 1972 and BLO supported Osibisa on tour in Nigeria. At that time BLO was voted as the best band in Nigeria. So finally it's out. Enjoy this amazing Underground album with African beats.350 numbered, heavy vinyl, gatefold cover
BLOPS made 3 albums in Chile, all really, really rare. The music is most beautiful. If you think you like El Congreso, you love Kissing Spell and Embrujo you will adore the music of the Blops. The first album from 1970 is pure underground folk with some electric moments, the second from 1971 becomes more electric still with most touching songs which makes you shiver and the third album from 1973 is complete electric and psychedelic with a progressive touch. The LP version of this box sold out very quick. Here is the CD version of it, beautiful laminated heavy book-box, 3 CD's in jewel cases, 2 non LP extra tracks, limited to 1000 copies.
Stunning box set limited to only 450 numbered copies. It contains all three releases by this Chilean band all of which are now incredibly rare and the music is most beautiful. If you like El Congreso, Kissing Spell and Embrujo you will adore the music of the Blops. The first album from 1970 is pure underground folk with some electric moments. The second from 1971 becomes more electric still with touching songs that make you shiver. The third album from 1973 is a fantastic electric psychedelic album with a US West Coast touch featuring trippy instrumental passages with flute, electric guitar and keyboards. Members of Kissing Spell + Embrujo later became members of Blops. The music from underground in Chile is well-known for perhaps the best music in whole South America. The Pacific coast, the influence of Indio music and the tough political pressure in 1973 makes this music so special. A real masterpiece. Incredible packaging with 180 gram vinyl pressings and the original sleeve artwork all housed in a heavy duty box with an insert.
Heavy 180 gram duty white vinyl, thick card sleeve version with insert on Shadoks of the1970 album from Danish psychedelic blues-rockers. Similar in feel to early Blue Cheer, Hendrix or Cream this album is heavy. Killer acid guitar riffs power this beast as demonstrated on the stunning ten minute "Hailow". 450 copies only worldwide.
CD that contains previously unissued 1970 recordings by this Californian band who offered their own brand of heavy bluesy psych jamming with plenty of tight yet fluid guitar work. Contains 7 bonus tracks.
Finally, the legendary and super rare album by this long lost US '60s band is out on CD! A classic example of West Coast pop-psych, this reissue is sonically improved and includes ten bonus tracks. Power pop, fuzzed-up '60s psych infused with a whole bunch of strangeness.... Awesome stuff!
Late '60s US heavy psych/garage album with plenty of keyboards and guitar. The album has a weird almost progressive edge, but retains a garage feel with a spooky cool vibe throughout. Official CD reissue.

From Turkey 1969/1972, some of the most amazing Turkish music ever recorded, wild, raw and with fuzz guitar all over. Still even for most Turkish collector a kept secret. BUNALIM released on 6 singles which are incredible rare. They never did a whole album. Produced by Cem Karaca. They say about the band: "God, they were crazy! Running all nude down the Istiklal Street, psychedelic light shows, crazy paintings all over the stage wall and screaming of "LSD! LSD!" in their live shows". Good as the best recordings from Erkin Koray.400 numbered copies / Gimmic texture gatefold sleeve / 180 gram pressing

On the high quality "Little Indians" label here is a hideously rare late '60s US psych album loaded with funky fuzz guitars and vocals that sound a bit like Moby Grape meets Big Brother. Funky and soulful music housed in a stunning full colour Robert Crumb like sleeve.
We can't understand why we still have some of these ! Excellent 1970 album by an unknown US Mid Western psychedelic rock band taken from the only surviving acetate. A mixture of driving melodic acid guitar/keyboard rock with segments of acoustic folky psych, it sounds like a mixture of Tangerine Zoo, Amboy Dukes and the Brain Police. If you dig late '60's US psych with a heavy edge then check this out. There are some great twin wah-wah acid fuzz guitar solos.... Housed in a beautiful fake leather covered sleeve in a limited numbered edition of 450 copies! Fondle with care.

Rare 1969 album by this US garage/blues/psych band. Similar to Boa it features rough guitar based acid rock with a primitive production reminiscent of The Ant Trip Ceremony LP. Keyboard and harmonica add to the period feel and the whole is wrapped in an atmospheric shroud of underground mystery. Only 390 numbered copies made.LAST COPY EVER!!!!!
One of many sixties bands from the Quad City’s fertile garage music scene. With labels/studios like Fredlo and IGL, it was a very healthy regional area for bands with an unusually high per capita for record releases. Up until the recent discovery of an original copy a couple years ago, it was only rumored to exist and remained an enigma with hardcore record collectors. In most cases, they were only known by astute collectors for their two excellent 45 releases (non-LP). Well the mystery is over, and here’s your chance to hear one of the rarest & greatest garage records ever recorded. Here’s the story about the record: Four high school seniors from Iowa decide to release an album of all original tunes, and was exclusively sold at their live shows. Originally released on the Rok label (a subsidiary of the already obscure Fredlo label) in 1967 with only 100 copies pressed. Their music is a nice blend of garage rock with hints of hipster folk and early psychedelic influences. As good if not better as other similar top shelf rarities like Mystery Meat and the Bachs. Get it or miss it!.450 numbered / glossy heavy sleeve / 180 gram pressing / insert
One of the legends of Turkish psych-prog (along with Erkin Koray and Baris Mancho), who ingested some serious hallucinogenic substances, took the traditional music of his own country, and rocked it up, creating a totally unique sound. This is a double vinyl compilation of the best tracks from his first two wah-laden psych albums, making up 22 tracks and 90 minutes of music. More political (and therefore vocal- based) than Koray or Mancho, but still prone to freakouts and headfucks of the wildest order, and blessed with a dark and evil yet sonorous and vocal style. Important: 350 COPIES ONLY, NUMBERED. HEAVY VINYL, LAMINATED GATEFOLD COVER.

Amazingly rare early 70's LP from Chile. Originally signed by EMI Odeon, the 3 Gonzáles Brothers plus bass & drums recorded this corker of an album.Musically it's in the same direction as Kissing Spell and Embrujo, mellow underground psychy tracks, trippy sounds, dreamy vocals, great guitarwork in fact just the kind of music you want to hear while trying out a few pleasure-cacti."Only 350 numbered pressed on heavy vinyl and housed in a heavy duty sleeve.LAST " COPIES OF THIS DELETED SHADOKS TITLE.
Finally on CD is this previously unreleased US psych album from 1968 that was originally due for release on Warner Brothers. An East Coast band who were previously called Euphoria's ID they had a slight progressive edge and tasty '68 styled guitar work in the style of like Mad River or Autosalvage. The sound quality of this release is really stunning and accompanying booklet contains full band history…
Here is finally the album many garage freaks were waiting for. This album is one of the great mysteries of the genre (a bit like Mystery Meat) and has been on several collectors' wants lists for aeons. Here's the schpiel: 5 guys and a girl recorded this album in 1967 in Puerto Rico. The album was pressed in USA on a private label, and the musicians were fellow students at the university of Puerto Rico studying Architecture. Alexy Rodriguez, who was a member of The Challengers and who designed the cover for this album, could not locate an original album to master from: luckily, many years later a well-known collector had the luck of finding a near mint original copy which was the basis of this reissue. The record has a strong guitar and organ based garage sound, rough and beautiful at the same time (like all the best stuff) all original songs and English lyrics. Well, that's another mystery solved then!! lLimited edition of 400 numbered copies pressed on 180 gram vinyl and housed in a thick card sleeve.
Two very rare privately pressed US '60's psych albums by the bizarre Fingletoad Strange And Siho. The first album dates from 1969 and was recorded in Chicago and released only as an acetate. The second album was made in 1970 with only 100 copies made. The music takes the listener into a psychedelic trip merging imaginary landscapes with teenage angst. Influenced by the Beatles, Jimi Hendrix and Neil Young the albums move from beautiful lyrical ballads to all out fuzz mayhem. The perfect mix of professional execution and garge sensibility. Heavy duty gatefold sleeve with thick vinyl pressings and only 350 copies made!

Excellent CD issue of US '70s private pressing of wild psych rock with a madcap edge by the band that included Pete Fine. Ranges from all out acid guitar blitz through to acoustic trippy beauty. This band should have been included on the 'Endless Journey' comps. This CD re-issue contains 3 bonus tracks. Great fold out booklet with information about this lost act.
Rockadelic's most lavish release to date. This band from San Diego gigged with The Brain Police in the late '60s performing their brand of heavy psych hippy rock to suitably alternative audiences. Rescued from oblivion by collector Clarke Faville, this double CD collection of live material and studio recordings comes complete with full explanatory booklet.
We don't know too much about this US trio other than their album was recorded in Philadelphia in 1970. It's an excellent disc with searing lead guitar and cool organ work reminsicent of early Zeppelin, Grand Funk or even MC5, whilst the vocals have a weird vibrato quality. Comes in a heavy duty full colour sleeve on 180 gram vinyl and limited to 450 numbered copies.

Still an unsolved mystery to most collectors this 1971 LP by GRANNIE is so rare and so good, it needs a decent reissue. The music is progressive rock with a good dose of UK underground. Beautiful Les Paul heavy sound all over, Hammond, driven beats and male vocals. To us this one is as good as DARK and LEAF HOUND, the music goes in the same direction. A killer album from begin to end.400 numbered copies / texture sleeve / 180 gram pressing on Shadoks.
Indonesia 1975, the most amazing album we have heard for a long long time. Full blown progressive album with great guitar leads, organ, moog, great vocals BUT recorded together with a complete Gamelan Orchestra. This is a killer production. 60 minutes of music only released in Indonesia as a tape (a very rare one indeed). Chrisye on vocals (he sells million of albums nowadays) and Guruh Soekarno Putra (the son of the first democratic president Soekarno of Indonesia). 8 musicians and the percussion orchestra. I never heard anything good like this before. Something in-between Magma, Nice and ELP but with great lead guitar and Indonesian harmonics. Shadoks, heavy sleeve, lizard skin type lamination, golden engraved artwork, insert
Formed in 1966 by Glenn Faria the album was not recorded till 1968-70. Similar to Crosby Stills, Nash & Young's more electric moments, It is very well-composed but it has that extra weird touch. "Around 1966, Nick Bonis, Mike Johnstone, Randy Pope, dropped acid, and spent a very strange night among the tombstones. The tombstones appeared to be melting and taking on animal shapes. Some of us saw spirits, and I'm not sure what I saw, but it was disturbing. Afterwards, we referred to that night as the "Headstone Circus". It seemed appropriate to call ourselves "Headstone Circus" as a band so we did". Enjoy this amazing west coast styled album which was recorded in Washington D.C. Great watercolour artwork on a heavy duty LP sleeve

After a first short spin of listening to Instant Orange we thought, yeah we have heard that before. Sounds a bit like the Byrds. But we were so wrong! What we knew was the sound of a 12 string Rickenbacker but "this album" had nothing to do with the Byrds. The music is way more complex, the lyrics are deep and powerful, with experimental bits and loops, electronic oscillators, backward tapes, stunning rhythms, great electric guitars and piano bits, all arranged into a powerful folk-rock song which gets you out of your chair. Sometimes not far from Mothers Of Invention the music of Instant Orange is unique, just too good and too clever for the early 1970's. Based in California, they recorded the album in 1973 in and pressed only 100 LP´s. Several singles and EP´s where recorded as well, which is the 2nd LP on this double album. I'm sure you will enjoy this beauty! 2LP 450 numbered / glossy heavy GATEFOLD sleeve / 180 gram pressing / insert
CD issue of perhaps the best Rockadelic release since Cold Sun! Late '60's acid rock band from El Paso who recorded two singles in 1971 (both of which are included here) along with previously unreleased material. Superb late '60's early '70's acid psych with ripping fuzz guitar work, keyboards, orchestration, melodic vocals. This is one of the best albums from Chile and certainly the rarest one. An amazing South American '60's psychedelic album that sounds like classic mid sixties West Coast American psych, i.e. Flat Earth Society, Electric Prunes etc. Fragile melodic songs with bursts of fuzz guitar and trippy dreamy production make this an essential album for psych fans. Kissing Spell was born in 1967. One night after a gig they said: No more messing with other peoples music, it is time for something new, created by us and for people who want to see us and not some Beatles clone. They were seen as a very elite group who played only a few times for large audiences, and consequently the records did not sell much. After "Kissing Spell" the same band became "Embrujo" - which is the Spanish translation for "Spell" - and recorded another album in 1971. Los Parajos remains a masterpiece. 350 numbered edition, heavy vinyl, heavy cover and a two page insert.
Previously unreleased album from 1971 by this great Mexican band with two lead guitarists! One of the longest albums for the Shadoks label, the A side features 8 studio tracks (25 minutes), the B side has 7 live tracks (28 minutes). The 6 piece band hammer out their Cream/Mountain influenced bluesy underground rock complete with English vocals, some electric violin and a touch of Latin percussion. Original songs, loads of psyche effects and screaming guitars in a Hendrix like wigout/psych style. Limited edition of 350, numbered copies, housed in the usual heavy cover and pressed on heavy duty vinyl.

450 numbered / heavy sleeve - front: textured sleeve with engraved artwork - back: picture sleeve / 180 gram pressing of this scarce French album from 1972.This was originally made as a tiny demo pressing in 1972, France, under the title "En Ces Jours" (In Those Days). Acid folk with poetry lyrics, loner vibes, Psychedelic guitars, well crafted songs, 6 of them in English, 2 in French words. 4 guys hanging out night by night to create their first album in a basement studio following there one and only ambition. This album is very special and became instantly one of the real musical surprises for us. It beats most UK albums of the same style.
Limited vinyl pressing (heavy vinyl thick card sleeve) re-issue of the 1971 debut album by these Chilean folk-rockers. Combining electric and acoustic Chilean instruments this group created a hybrid form of progressive folk/rock that was enormously successful in Argentina in the 1970s. Easily the most reknowned Chilean band in the world (and one of the most revered South American bands) Los Jaivas presented the world with an adventurous and progressive strain of folk music, and it started right here with their debut. 350 numbered, heavy vinyl, laminated heavy cover.
CD version of this 1970 Venezuelan psych-rock recently issued on Shadoks in it's stunning psychedelic sleeve! Full of fuzz guitar, white knuckle acid leads and pumping sounds with excellent covers of 'Toad' and '51st Anniversary'. This is the same band as Ladies WC and every bit as good!

Fabulous new volume in the "Love, Peace and Poetry" series that features the best psychedelic music that came out of Mexico in the '60's and early '70's. There is some really trippy stuff on this great comp by the likes of THE KALEIDOSCOPE, DUG DUGS, LA VIDA, EL TARRO DE MOSTAZA, LA LIBRE EXPRESION, FLYING KARPETS, LA REVOLUCIAN DE EMILIANO ZAPATA, LOS OVNIS, NAHUATL etc. If you don't know the Mexican psych music scene of this era then take it from us, it's as good as anything from the USA during the same period. Awesome acid sounds with fuzz guitar, swirling keyboards and assorted effects with some English lyrics. Usual attractive artwork with informative notes.

Most Italian rare records have been reissued already, right? Well, allegedly. But this one just slipped underneath the producers door- largely because it isn't really an Italian album. It sounds like one, great songs with a progressive touch, lovely fuzz guitar and organ, but Mack Sigis Porter is from- wait for it- Africa! Released only as a demo pressing in 1972 on the famous RiFi label this album, unsurprisingly (why else would Shadoks be issuing it?) did not make it. With a beautiful gatefold die cut gimmick cover it was produced on a very high budget, but still to no avail Mack's English lyrics are about World Peace and unpleasant things we are doing to our environment. Perhaps it was just too political for RiFi, but the music still came out brilliantly- a killer album from beginning to end.400 numbered, heavy vinyl, laminated heavy TRIPLE-GATEFOLD-GIMIC cover.
Double CD reissue of two of the greatest US underground psych albums of the '70s. Recorded by a freak who hung out with members of The Beach Boys and the Monkees (he actually wrote the song Salesman) Maitreya Kali (Craig Smith) recorded these tracks between '67-'71 in between travelling in Peru and the Far East. The result is an incredible set of songs that explore trippy '60s styled psych and bonged out hippy folk, all of which is laced with a weird, mystical vibe.

A super rare US album recorded in 1973 by a freaked out Vietnam veteran. Largely a concept album about that great US misadventure it's folky and "down-home" for playing whilst sitting around a fireside. Main man Bill Homans has a fine voice and also plays some mean slide guitar. Limited to 450 copies on thick vinyl... numbered. From the Ten Little Indians stable...

After the extensive efforts of the first 2 albums by Mick Stevens from 1972/75 (See The Morning / No Savage Word) here are his slightly later album from 1977 + 1979. The first 2 where recorded at small Deroy studios this time both albums where recorded at Spaceward studios , a studio famous for early recordings by Hawkwind, Julian Cope, Mandy Morton, Modern English, The Stranglers and many others. The sound, the songs and the vibe is just more sophisticated than on the first 2 albums. All great songs, mostly electric and some acoustic, great lyrics and Mick's voice just amazing. If you like the first 2 albums you will love these 2. THIS CD VERSION HAS 4 BONUS TRACKS including a RARE INTERVIEW WITH MICK STEVENS.

One of the rarest folk-rock artefacts, of the early 70s, a 1971 test pressing (described as the 'ultimate home-made student album') discovered in 1992 and sold for a 4-figure sum to a 'collector'. Densely layered acoustic and electric acid folk with cynical, misanthropic lyrics that effectively document the breakdown of a relationship between its male and female vocalists (no, this isn't a joke!!), this is a 'Rumours' for the folk obscurity lover. Moods range from dreamy to aggressive to just otherworldly, and the sound has been compared to Mellow Candle or Magna Carta at their best. In short, you HAVE to hear this!! IMPORTANT: LIMITED EDITION, 350 NUMBERED COPIES ONLY, HEAVY VINYL, LAMINATED HEAVY COVER. Got that?
Since an Indole ring is part of LSD's molecular structure then you should know what to expect from this bunch! Formed in the mid '60's in Canada the band went on to become Vancouver's prime psychedelic band, and the nearest comparison is a harder edged Daily Flash. Certainly this previously unreleased collection of Candian '60's psych is a treasure trove of harmonies, freaky guitar, keyboards, stoned effects and eastern jamming. Housed in a thick card sleeve with insert and pressed on 180 gram vinyl. You need it! Last few copies.

The Australian artist Paul Adolphus recorded this album in Kyoto/Japan. Quoth he: "My first visit to Japan was in 1968 after living in India and Sri Lanka. I was playing music with different people, then developed a musical relationship with Mitsu Harada. We did concerts and toured to other cities in Japan together. Before leaving Japan Mitsu organised to record the album together. Mitsu engineered as well as playing. I think there were 200 copies pressed, the covers were hand made, so it was released into the small arts community of Kyoto and Tokyo. Incredibly rare and sought after mellow folk album with beautiful songs and harmonies, like a Japanese version of Extradition.350 numbered, heavy vinyl, laminated heavy gatefold cover

Long awaited official reissue of this blistering late '60's US acid rock mind blower. Originally reissued on Rockadelic a few years back (one of the label's best known and rarest releases) here it is in digital glory with cool photos, detailed liner notes and bonus tracks. Stunning tripped out guitar based psych with ripping acid wah-wah lead guitars, distortion, swirling keyboards and stoned lyrics. Turn it up to 13 and trip out. Fantastic!
Finally here is the second solo album by guitar wizard Pete Fine (The Flow).Recorded in 1973 this album is tighter and has excellent song structures with loads of fuzz guitars. Some tracks are instrumentals which blow guitar lovers away. Others have female and male vocals with a touch of west-coast sound. If there is a guitarist in this music scene we adore Pete Fine would be among the top 5. One of the best Shadoks releases.350 copies only worldwide.Get orders in fast to avoid disapointment.
Finally out on CD! Recorded in 1971 by the leader of The Flow, this very rare US album album is a beautiful mixture of psychedelic rock music and classical composition with exotic percussion, assorted vocal harmonies etc. The mix of rock and orchestration is a very personal experience that predates a lot of the "band meets orchestra" projects that were to follow in the '70's.
Still unknown incredible rare early 70's album of mellow Underground with English vocals. Good stuff and as rare as gold dust. A beautiful concept album, far away from any avantgarde tunes. The recording was great but the mixing was weak. This album make you shiver. Great artists and performers, electric guitar, piano, drums, bass, beautiful vocals, all original compositions influenced by the London Underground scene and bands such as Procol Harum. If you think "Martha" is a good album you will like this one a lot.Shadoks LP 450 numbered / heavy sleeve / 180 gram pressing
Shadoks vinyl issue of unreleased 1969 album from Californian garage psych band Public Nuisance. In the late 60s they had support slots with Doors, Janis Joplin and Buffalo Springfield and were part of the same scene as The New Breed and Oxford Circle. This is crazy garage psych with fuzz guitar and driving organ that deserves to be recognised 30+ years after the event! Limited to 600 numbered copies on heavy vinyl in heavy gatefold cover with EP & insert. Very limited! We warned you.
450 numbered / glossy heavy sleeve with engraved artwork / 180 gram pressing of this album released in Kenya in 1974.Question Mark recorded this album in 1974 in Kenya. 5 musicians, all English vocals, heavy fuzz guitar, 8 freakin tracks. Frank Saucier and his 3 brothers formed Rayne in 1977, located in the New Orleans suburbia. They recorded the album with 'good' home equipment with no overdubs. The original album (the black album as they called it) was a pressing of 300 units . The music is first class psych rock, strong compositions, great guitars & vocals, just everything right, something you would expect from a band located in New Orleans. Southern spirit and the tough guys don't dance ,they play music instead.LP 450 numbered / heavy sleeve / 180 gram pressing / insert on Shadoks

Shark Move started playing in Bandung, Indonesia in 1970 and were founded by Benny Soebardja who played lead guitar and provided the vocals. Shark Move were one of the Indonesian rock pioneers who combined western rock music with traditional harmonies and UK styled progressive sounds. Unfortunately at the end of 1970 the keyboard player passed away so Benny decided to fold the group. A very complex prog album which is as strong as many UK albums of the same period.LP 450 numbered / heavy sleeve / 180 gram pressing / insert- On Shadoks

The ultimate Japanese heavy psych albums from the early '70s. Plastered in freaked out Hendrix-like acid guitar riffs it will appeal to lovers of Blues Creation, Flower Travelling Band and similar '70s Japanese acts. A little known record that was made as the sound track to a psychedelic film. Great psych cover and a detailed booklet with photos and band history..
Truly amazing unknown late '60s US psych album released in 1970 bubbling over with psychedelic effects, fuzz guitar solos and electronic mayhem, a bit like the wilder parts of the 50 ft Hose album. The band went on to mutate into French/American Folk Psych legends Mormos! Very similar to the Red Krayola.
Finally here is the '60's Spoils Of War album with 25 previously unreleased tracks. From the late 60s this is 95 minutes of unreleased US psych at it's best. The sound is a bit lighter than the band's 1970 album and has a whimsical edge but there are some great trippy jams filled with wah-wah guitar and swirling keyboards. One album features studio recordings and one live recordings from 1967/68. The band went on to become folk psych legends Mormos after some members moved to France. Pressed on 180 gram vinyl in an extra heavy gatefold, silver foil embossed sleeve and limited to 450 numbered copies. Awesome.

This is effectively the second album by Time after they moved to New York and changed their name, having previously recorded the "Before there was" record (also out on Shadoks) . This album was recorded in 1969/70 in New York City by Lynn David Newton, Tom McFaul, Richard Stanley, Bob Stuhler (the drummer of Hot Tuna) and David Rosenboom (on 1 track). It's an album of creative music that has never been released before and in some ways is a minor musical masterpiece, well-composed, well-crafted, with emotionally twisted songs and a big influence from the British Underground. On some tracks the vocals sound like Robert Wyatt in the early 70´s. If you like the Canterbury sound and art-rock with Underground roots, you will love this one. The album has 16 tracks totalling 45 minutes of music. 350 numbered edition, heavy vinyl, heavy cover, 2 page insert. Cowabunga!

This previously unreleased psych album was recorded in 1968 in Toronto Canada and is a revelation from start to finish. Classic 1968 psych with eastern themes, rock and folk all whirled up in a psych mincer to give it that special late '60's US/Canadian psych flavour. The founder of the band studied in the same class as Jim Cuomo from The Spoils Of War. The album is packed with harpsichord, flutes, percussion, heavy fuzz guitar and weird effects, wrapping neatly around lysergic vocals. The band moved to New York a year later and evolved into Think Dog (also out on Shadoks). Excellent official remaster. Only 350 numbered copies made, heavy card sleeve and heavy duty vinyl.

Official CD issue of this rare and beautiful UK psychedelic folk rarity from 1972. Similar to early Incredible String Band and Bread Love and Dreams it's a mixture of acoustic exotic instruments, electric guitar, and male/female vocal harmonies. The songs are suitably beautiful introspective, reflective, and mystical. This CD issue includes five bonus tracks and a detailed booklet. A gem.

Akira Ishikawa, the drummer/composer of the project UGANDA went to Africa to study music from the African Masia tribe...and smoking grass. Back in his homeland of Japan he recorded this album in quadraphonic sound together with Kimio Mitzutani and assorted other freaks. Kimio Mizutani, who played a true outstanding distorted wah-wah fest, is backed by tribal African rhythm here. Along with "Ceremony" this is highly desirable Japanese heavy psych. Still completely unknown, this album, with its berzerk fuzz guitar, beats most other Japanese psychedelic rarities. Limited edition of 400 numbered copies with insert pressed on 180 gram vinyl and housed in a thick card sleeve with copy of the original obi strip..
Originally reissued on vinyl on The One Little Indians label, here at last is a CD reissue of this super rare US psych concept album that has a Neighbr'hood Childr'n feel. This psych beauty, sometimes dreamy sometimes totally wild has female vocals, titanic horns & distorted guitars. Sweet tunes turn into dark psych-power. Greg Ruban, the composer and front-man of Victoria recorded this album just before he had to go to Vietnam. When he returned from War, obviously mentally fucked, he took his unreleased album on a 3 month trip to Europe on a motorbike to promote it, but unfortunately that did not work out at all. The album was unreleased until only a few years ago.NOW DELETED AGAIN - LAST 3 COPIES.
CD version of this excellent U.S. psychedelic rock outfits sole album recorded in 1970. They move from heavy sounds to soft and melodic vibes with long trippy passages that need liquid lights on as you fully soak up the music. Some of the unusual rhythms in 'Scissor Tailed Swallow' and 'Country of the Goose', are really quite unique and make this a really good psych album. An 8 page informative booklet rounds off the package.
Double CD reissue of this super rare US garage album only released in Columbia in the '60s ! Amazingly cool garage with all the right moves, similar to The Rising Storm with a South American '60s vibe. Cool!
California trio Wildfire came to Austin in 1969. They shared the stage with many performers such as Johnny Winter, Allman Brothers, Freddy King, Shivas Headband and many more. After laying down partial tracks at the Beach Boys' recording studios (guitarist Randy Love is Beach Boy Mike Love's cousin) This album is extra heavy psychedelic rock with dual vocals, great stereo effects, all original songs in Moby Grape/Blue Cheer direction. They use to be one of the loudest band's around on their custom build Quilter amps. For the first time officially released direct from copies of the master tapes. Shadoks 450 numbered / heavy gatefold sleeve / 180 gram pressing
Completely unknown band from Zambia, privately pressed in 1975 on a small local label, this 5 piece electric band plays a strong electric African underground style. Tons of wah wah-fuzz guitar in every track, African style beats and vocals and all original song. If bands from Nigeria such as Blo and Ofege and bands from Zambia such as Rikki Ililonga and Chrissy Zebby are all traveling on the psychedelic highway with 100 mph the Witch overtakes them with 120 mph pedal to the metal.Heavy duty sleeve and 180 gram vinyl pressed on Shadoks.
