Carnegie - Rock & Roll Symphony. CD. (Shroom Records - SP2112)

1977 recordings by this US prog band who featured a pair of identical twins playing back to back grand pianos, a third brother playing Moog and synthesizers with the sound filled out by drums, electric guitars and bass. A powerhouse progressive rock group that was classically based. It's a story of what could have been. The album was recorded in 1977 but never released. These recordings are working demos and live recordings of all the songs that were meant for release in 1977. A true relic of vintage 70's Ameriprog.

Ultra rare mid 70's UK acid folk rock recordings. Features sitar, moog, acoustic and electric guitars, assorted percussion instruments to create a Popul Vuh like soundscape. Hands - Early Years 1974-1976. CD. (Shroom Records - SPLE200201)

This release features very early studio and live recordings by US '70's progressive rock band HANDS. Some of this is from the earliest version of the band who, at the time were called IBIS. After this they went on to become PRISM and then HANDS. This limited CD features never before heard material, demos and live versions of songs released on their two studio albums, as well as covers of tracks by progressive bands such as P.F.M. and others.

Very eclectic psychedelic music, can only be described as very spiritual and very lysergic. Freak out guitar, crazed vocals and haunting melodies all woven together to create a unique listening experience. New US band Skuldedog sounds like Loch Ness meets Jimi Hendrix for a jam session on acid in India with Ash Ra Tempel. Recorded between 1985 and 1992.

Stan Lassiter Grupe - Chi. CD. (Shroom Records - SPLE200106)

Previously unreleased album (early 80's) from this amazing guitarist who began his career in 1970. The music is ultra hyper fueled progressive jazz rock, or perhaps better to say the music reveals many layers of styles and sounds that recall Wes MOntgomery, Steve Hackett,Jimi Hendrix and John McLaughlin, but Stan Lassiter holds his own as a musician forging his own sound and style. Truly magnificent stuff!Only 300 numbered copies.
