This was the alternative soundtrack to the disco years. A true rock classic filled with animal energy and sheer bad boy attitude. With the title track, "Girl's Got Rhythm", "Shot Down in Flames" and "Touch Too Much". Play at full volume and slug on an ice cold beer. Pressed on 180 gram vinyl with original artwork and housed in a Simply Vinyl sealed outer sleeve. Trivia: The track 'Nightprowler' was blamed, 'Helter Skelter' style, by serial killing nutbar Richard Ramirez for his slaying of women in California in 1980.
Highway to Hell (1979) distilled all the virtues of AC/DC's signature minimalism, loud, simple, pounding riffs and grooving backbeats into the tightest batch of songs the group had written to this point, barreling along at a take-no-prisoners rate and producing a handful of gems ("Girl's Got Rhythm," "If You Want Blood (You've Got It)") along with the title track. Highway to Hell is not only a fitting epitaph for Bon Scott, it's also a classic rock & roll album.
Perhaps the best known of the Aussie rockers releases, this 1977 stunner contains not only the classic title track, but also the equally popular "Whole Lotta Rosie" and "Dog Eat Dog." Classic rock from the classic boogie rockers. Piledriver anthems sung by a vocalists who obviously gargled with razorblades (we’re talking the great Bon Scott in this case, although his successor Brian Johnson seemes to be master of the same skill).

Superb vinly re-issue of their 1967 psych album. Which was supposed to take the innovations of 'Pet Sounds' to even grander heights, but never quite made it. Low-key psychedelic quirkiness, with abundant fine harmonies and unusual arrangements. Still as classy now as thirty years ago.

1974 album 'Planet Waves' seldom seems to get the same amount of attention as some of Dylan’s other more well known albums. It is still nonetheless a critical favourite with most serious Bob Dylan fans. Dylan had teamed up with the band again but the album recalls New Morning more than The Basement Tapes. Highlights include "On a Night Like This," "Something There Is About You," and the lovely "Forever Young". First time on 180 gram vinyl too!
180 gram Simply Vinyl issue of 1978 Dylan album. The first of his albums to use the 'big' arrangements causing many of his fans to dismiss this as a forgettable album. This is a shame as the songs featured as every bit as good as the material on 'Blood On The Tracks' or 'Desire'. Time has allowed much of Dylan's work to be re-assessed (remember in the 60s his 'electric folk revolution' was dismissed) and this album deserves to be heard by a wider audience. Includes a PVC dust cover.
An international success upon its release in 1973 merging rock and reggae rhythms to amazing effect. All the songs were originals, often politically charged lyrics and streetwise. 'Catch a Fire' is one of the finest reggae albums ever, essential for any reggae collection. Smoke de herb and enjoy.

Chunky vinyl pressing on 180 gram.
This album hit Jamaica like a force ten gale, its legacy so great that many fans came to believe it was Burning Spear's debut album (it wasn't, two earlier records were released by Studio One). It made an instant hero of Winston Rodney, and the album is a cornerstone of the entire roots movement. Accompanied by the the island's best musicians, Robbie Shakespeare and Aston Barrett, guitarists Earl "Chinna" Smith and Tony Chin, and drummer Leroy Wallace. Producer Jack Ruby's was equally important to the album's sound, gracing it with a deep roots mix that accentuated the haunting atmospheres of the music. The second LP contains a dub version of the LP.180 gram vinyl and housed in a PVC sleeve.

The classic 1967 (now extended to a double) album of electrically skewed blues done as only the good Captain knew how. Long tracks that crackled with energy and strangeness and were certainly present at the birth of a legendary contributor to the slightly less than normal side of pop music.

Carole King is one of the legendary song writers of the '60's and 70's. Not only did she write such classics as "I Wasn't Born To Follow" (Byrds) and "The Porpoise Song" (Monkees) but she made some pretty damn fine albums. This one is easily the best filled with timeless compositions such as "Will You Love Me Tomorrow" "(You Make Me Feel) Like A Natural Woman" and "It's Too Late". 180 Gram Vinyl pressing limited edition.

Exact reissue of the first Cream album which is perhaps their best as it captures the psych/heavy progressive blues band in a fresh creative stage of their career. Includes some of their best material too with "I Feel Free" and "N.S.U". 180 gram vinyl.
Like Wheels of Fire before it, Goodbye showcases both sides of Cream: that of a late-'60s pop band and that of an unchained blues-rock powerhouse. The live tracks on side one are highly improvised affairs, with even "I'm So Glad" receiving an extended guitar solo from Clapton. How he is able to play such laid-back and tasty blues over the relentlessly aggressive Jack Bruce and Ginger Baker is a mystery. In fact, the real superstar of these recordings is Bruce, whose upfront, distorted bass playing kicks Baker along as much as it challenges Clapton. At times it sounds more like a battle than anything else, battles that Bruce, with his tenacity and pure drive, almost always wins. This Limited edition reissue featuring all original artwork and includes original studio versions of "Badge" and "Doing That Scrapyard Thing" as well as the live tracks. Cream's last and some say best album.180 gram vinyl and PVC sleeve.

180 gram vinyl pressing of this fantastic nody of work constructed as a loose concept album in 1972 about an androgynous alien rock star named Ziggy. David Bowie and the Spiders from Mars play with a maverick flair that invigorates rockers like "Suffragette City," "Moonage Daydream," and "Hang Onto Yourself," while "Lady Stardust," "Five Years," and "Rock and Roll Suicide" have a grand sense of staged drama previously unheard of in rock & roll. This album is a pure masterpeice.
Pre 'Ziggy Stardust ' Bowie although this album was first issued as 'David Bowie' in 1967 it was re- released and renamed 'Space Oddity' after the success of Ziggy in 1972. Has some great tracks from one of his most creative periods in a mostly acoustic style highlighted on 'Unwashed And Somewhat Slightly Dazed', 'Memory Of A Free Festival' and 'An Occasional Dream'. Possibly their finest moment.
The stunningly consistent Hysteria is here again in vinyl form! Joe Elliott's lyrics owe an obvious debt to his obsession with T. Rex, particularly on the playfully silly anthem "Pour Some Sugar On Me" and the British glam-rock tribute "Rocket," while power ballads like "Love Bites" and the title track lack the histrionics or gooey sentimentality of many similar offerings. The strong pop hooks and "perfect"-sounding production of Hysteria may not appeal to diehard heavy metal fans, but it isn't heavy metal - it's pop-metal, and arguably the best pop-metal ever recorded. Its blockbuster success helped pave the way for a whole new second wave of hair-metal bands, while proving that the late-'80s musical climate could also be very friendly to veteran hard rock acts, a lead many would follow in the next few years.
Classic 1970 album from Eric Clapton and his band (following the Blind Faith experiment) in which Eric tried to move away from the 'superstar' tag and all that went with it and make a good old-fashioned group rock album. Now given the Simply Vinyl treatment with the usual quality sleeve and 180 gram vinyl.Housed in a PVC slipcase.
Devo 'one of the stangest bands in the world' quoted NME in the 70's. Hailing from Arkon, Ohio, USA they gave rock music a new theory, a new look and a new sound. But that’s the only way to describe a band that could get the nation's hip young things going crazy to tracks like 'Whip It', 'Jocko Homo (We are Not Men We are Devo)', 'Big Mess', 'Girl U Want' & 'Secert Agent Man' all included on this best of. Fanatstic Double Vinyl 180 gram Pressing
Jamaican toaster Dillinger was a recording industry veteran by the time of this groundbreaking album(1975), which made him as a force in his own right. Borrowing his nom de plume from the Depression-era bank robber of the same name, Dillinger wastes no time getting to the point, while stellar, heavy dub-laden backing tracks weave underneath his pun-riddled patois. In some ways, this album offers a cross-section of reggae's fascinations with kung fu ("Natty Kick Like Lightning"), motorbiking (CB 200"), and a pot-puffing Rasta-versus-royals confrontation "Buckingham Palace" that numerous other artists would adapt for their purposes (most notably Peter Tosh for his"Buk-in-hamm Palace").180 gram vinyl

Brilliant debut released in 1977 by one of the most influential UK punk bands. Nasty aggressive punky rock n’ roll which actually featured proper melodies by people who could actually play!! The album is packed with enough high octane gems to fuel a riot! We’re talking such killers as "Sometimes", "London Lady", "Hanging Around", "Get A Grip On Yourself" and the super sleazy and BBC banned "Peaches". Sounds absolutely wonderful on the 180 gram black stuff believe us!

With Pink Floyd's Dave Gilmour at the production controls and bass, & Humble Pie's Jerry Shirley providing drum backing, Syd's second album from 1970 is more polished than the "Madcap Laughs". Includes gems such as as "Baby Lemonade", "Love Song" and "Waving Arms In The Air".180 gram vinyl, PVC slip case and original sleeve.
Pink Floyd's erratic genius' first solo album took two years and four producers to make. When released in 1970 it sank without trace, but it has stood the test of time well, possessed of an intangible almost timeless quality. Syd's unique lyrics, and the mental deterioration (inspiration?) are melancholic/joyous/scary. Tracks are performed sometimes solo, and sometimes with an unrehearsed Soft Machine battling along, but Syd's delivery is often openly raw and honest. A genuine Masterpiece. 180 gram vinyl, gatefold sleeve and PVC slipcase.
Far from containing inferior "product" to Syd's two solo releases, this collection of outtakes and unreleased songs from the 1968-70 sessions is a fascinating and stunning selection of tracks, with "Opel" being one of his finest compositions. Essential for all Barrett fans! An expanded double LP edition.

Absolutely essential 1967 psychedelic album by this UK supergroup that included Jim Capaldi, Dave Mason, Stevie Winwood, and Chris Wood. An album that successfully straddles treacle-toffee pop-syke and acid drenched lunched-out weirdness. One of the Top 10 UK '60s psych albums!!! 180 gram vinyl and a PVC slip case.
This is the UK supergroups 2nd album from 1968, with the original line-up of Jim Capaldi, Dave Mason, Stevie Winwood and Chris Wood. Not quite as psychedelic as "Mr. Fantasy", it nonetheless is a fine slice of late '60s psychy/prog with outstanding musicianship throughout and plenty of classy tracks. Original gatefold sleeve, 180 gram vinyl and PVC slip case..
Some call him a genius, others claim he's certifiably insane, a madman. Truth is, he's both, but more importantly, Lee Perry is a towering figure in reggae as this 1975 album shows. Along with producing some of the most influential acts (Bob Marley and the Wailers and the Congos to name but two) in reggae history, Perry's approach to production and dub mixing was breathtakingly innovative and audacious no one else sounds like him and while many claim that King Tubby invented dub, there are just as many who would argue (myself included) that no one experimented with it or took it further than did Lee Perry. 180 gram vinyl
2000 album from Van the Man (with Linda Gail Lewis) gets the Simply Vinyl treatment. Classic white-boy soul pressed on 180 gram vinyl. Includes "Jambalaya", "Shot Of Rhythm & Blues", "Boogie Chillen" and many more.
Pete Townsend's rock Opera always sounded best when the Who performed it, and this is the definitive version. Listening to the band blast through "Pin Ball Wizard","I'm Free" and the rest is pure bliss.180 gram vinyl and exact repro of the original gatefold sleeve.
Perhaps one of the true contenders for the greatest rock album of all time. Released in 1971 when The Who were at the peak of their live powers and Pete Townsend was at a frazzled creative high, every track on this superb record is a killer. "Baba O' Riley" "Bargain" "Behind Blue Eyes" and of course "Won't Get Fooled Again" - the album is emotionally charged, tight as hell and perfectly focused.
