John Wetton - Back In Business. Dble CD. (Trademark Of Official Quality - VPTMQ021CD)

John Wetton probably has the most impressive roster of bands that any classic rock musician has ever been in: Jade, Mogul Thrash, Family, King Crimson, Roxy Music, Uriah Heep, UK, Wishbone Ash and of course Asia. With a resume like that, it's no surprise that his solo albums are of a similar quality. This is a double-disc in-concert recording from Japan in 1999 that shows him ripping through a veritable repertoire of solo material as well as Crimson, UK and Asia classics at what was obviously a show of great atmosphere. To be enjoyed by fans and newcomers alike.

Another great addition to the Mountain Ofiicial Live Bootleg Series. This time the performance comes from inside the Capitol Theatre in Passaic, New Jersey on New Years Eve 1973 and features a newly reformed Mountain. The band had originally split in 1972 when West and Laing went on to work with Jack Bruce for two albums. However, by the end of 1973 West, Pappalardi, Laing and Perry had reformed, this concert followed the recording of the official Twin Peaks live album and took place before their next studio album "Avalanche". Mountain - Bootleg Series Volume 6 : Live NJ Capitol Theater '74. CD. (Trademark Of Official Quality - VPTMQ015CD)

Continuing this great collection of Live Mountain performances here is a show from 1974 the period when the band had re-formed and the core trio of Leslie West, Felix Pappalardi and Corky Lang reunited for a series of successful dates and a great album called "Avalanche". The re-union was unfortunately short lived which makes the recordings on this disc all the more precious.

Mountain - Renfrew Ferry, Glasgow 2005. CD. (Trademark Of Official Quality - VPTMQ046CD)

Yet another Mountain live album!! Yippeee, just what the world wants. The offical schpiel states here that this is 'another outstanding release' from the' fantastic Mountain bootleg series, and a 'fine performance of the classics alongside new material' which will feature on the band's forthcomingstudio album due for release mid 2006. However, if you can tell it apart from any of their other recent live releases, you're a better man than me Gunga Din. Remastered for this reissue (like you give a damn ).
