Bubble Puppy - Hot Smoke - Unreleased Recordings And True Mixes. CD. Great CD featuring previously unreleased (and far superior) mixes of two classic Bubble Puppy Tracks ("Hot Smoke and Sassafras" plus "Lonely") as well as four peviously unreleased recordings from 1969 (possibly intended for the bands second International Artists album) together with a long jam from the bands 1984 reunion. The CD includes some cool period photos and has the full blessing of the original band. A real find for fans of this killer Texan acid rock band (who became Demian). The guitar playing is sublime!

Sirius - Rising. CD. (Free Records - FR 2003) Effectively this is the third album by US '60's band Bubble Puppy after they changed their name to Demian and then to Sirius. Much more in the mid '70's rock style than the band's earlier acid rock sound, with a clean production and big production, it's neverthe less a fine rock album. Good songs, clean harmony vocals and the usual quality guitar work...
