Clark Hutchinson - A=MH². LP. (Akarma - AK293LP) 180 gram pressing of the 1969 debut album of one of the most interesting and irreverent bands of the British underground rock scene of the late 60s. A space-rock feel with acid guitar solos at every turn, Larry's voice is as good as ever and a great rhythm section in George Webley and Wayne Casserly on bass and drums respectively. Morticians - Freak Out With...... CD. (Tin Soldier - TIN-1) Part of the 80's wave of UK neo psych and garage The Morticians made one of the best lost UK psych albums of that era. It's a combination of '60s styled garage punk and West Coast/Pink Fairies like acid guitar rock. Heavy distorted fuzzed out guitar solos, swirling keyboards and a really stoned atmosphere pervade this litte gem that's long gone on vinyl. Includes uniquely heavy versions of "Action Woman" & "Song Of A Baker","Blackout Of Gretely" and a totally over the top lysergic version of the Country Joe & The Fish classic "Section 43" . Dave Goodman's production is raw , drenched in reverb and somehow (only God knows) he managed to hold this monstrous creation together. This re-issue contains two bonus tracks and fully informative booklet. The Morticians included future members of stoner rock band Gorilla.

Motörhead - On Parole. CD. These recordings are the UA artist demos that were turned down by the label in 1975 and are really what became the first Motörhead album sensibly picked up by Chiswick. UA obviously wanted another hippy outfit!. Tracks that eventually ended up on Twink's classic "Think Pink" are included here. Took ended up in Tyrannosaurus Rex of course, but this is a fascinating look at his more rebellious days.

Simply Saucer - Cyborgs Revisited. CD. (Sonic Unyon Recording Co. - SUNCD085) A lost cult classic by this little known Canadian band. Dating from 1975 and taking the raw sound of Syd Barrett/The Modern Lovers/The Pink Fairies and the Velvets and then dragging the songs into the experimental aspects of Can/Soft Machine to make a real heady spaced out mix. Tracks wander into space rock territory with long wigged out jams. This excellent re-issue contains 9 tracks of bonus material including the 1978 single "She's a Dog". This album really was, years ahead of it's time. Simply stunning.

Speed, Glue & Shinki - Speed, Glue & Shinki. CD. (Progressive - PL 595) Second monster album from 1972 by this wild punky Japanese heavy psych/progressive band. Speed & Co turn in a set of heavy progressive blues rock that more than matches their Western counterparts (May Blitz meets Pink Fairies with flashes of Led Zep and early Fleetwood Mac!) Killer twin lead guitars, keyboards and flute all contribute to a highly polished and powerful album by a very tight band who throw in a few laid back and weird moments including a long electrontic synth piece called "Song For An Angel". Search for love on the other hand contains awesome spaced out twin lead guitars. Digital Remaster.

Steve Peregrine Took - Crazy Diamond. CD. (Angel Air - SJPCD 118) As one half of Tyrannosauras Rex, Steve recorded 'My Fair People Were Fair', 'Prophets Seers, Sages' and 'Unicorn' with Marc Bolan. Here is a collection of previously unreleased solo material from the early 70's after his split with Marc. Freaky Rock featuring Twink and Larry Wallis (Pink Fairies) and a rumoured Syd Barrett.

Steve Peregrine Took's Shagrat - Lone Star. CD. (Captain Trip - CTCD-312) Finally out on a Japanese CD,these recordings from 1970 and 1971- were previously only available on vinyl - by this legendary UK Freak Rock band. Featuring Steve Took, and Larry Wallis (Pink Fairies) the CD includes seven recordings with "Amanda", "Beautiful Deceiver" "Peppermint Flick Stick" and others. A slice of UK underground history.Complete with obi strip.

String Driven Thing - String Driven Thing. CD. (SPM - SPM-WWR-CD-0027) Debut album from 1972 by this often overlooked UK Progressive Folk Rock band who shared the stage with The Pink Fairies and Edgar Broughton band. Critically applauded at the time this album features rough edged melodic progressive rock with male and female vocals and violin that in places can be compared to a lighter folkier version of High Tide.

Tractor - Tractor (Remastered And Expanded). CD. (Ozit - CD217) Great 30th anniversary edition reissue of one of John Peel's Dandelion Records more successful bands. Tractor, two lads from Rochdale who managed to sound like a complete band, recorded this album in 1972. A classic of progressive rock (that at times sounds like The Pink Fairies debut and Hawkwind), this remains a creation of rare beauty and inventiveness. This reissue also has bonus recorded material including a studio track with Nik Turner and a live performance from Glastonbury festival 2002 as well as other previously unreleased demo tracks. 63 minute playing time and a fully detailed colour booklet.

Tractor (The Way We Live) - A Candle For Judith (remastered/expanded). CD. (Ozit - OZIT CD2 16) The classic 1971 album by UK band Tractor, appearing under a different name. Originally issued on Dandelion the album is now expanded and remastered with extra tracks. A truly beautiful progressive/space rock album it mixes the epic quality of Led Zep with a spacey Pink Floyd feel and the mushroom weirdness of The Pink Fairies and Hawkwind. "Willow" is a masterpiece of UK underground rock and it's easy to see why John Peel signed this band way back in the early '70's. Includes the rare EP tracks and a detailed fully illustrated booklet.

(See For Miles - SEECD 409-D) Both superb albums by this early '70s UK band who changed name in mid career and released two albums for Dandelion records... Superb progressive psych with excellent songs, vocal harmonies and guitar work. Sounds like Hawkwind meets the early Pink Fairies with a splash of acoustic Led Zep. Essential for any serious collector.....

Twink - Odds And Beginnings. CD. (Captain Trip - CTCD 118) Interesting and historic compilation of the many guises of Tomorrow, Pretty Things and Pink Fairies drummer Twink. This import CD contains radio broadcasts, interviews and alternate mixes of some of his best known tunes, as well as one or two new pleasant surprises. Has seven more tracks than LP version.

Twink - Think Pink. LP. (Akarma - AK 064) Incredible vinyl edition - in original US, thick card, gatefold sleeve - of this stunning UK early '70s psych album. This is the first time this album has been officially reissued on vinyl in the original artwork. Featuring the mindblowing "10,000 Words In A Cardboard Box" and "Tiptoe On The Highest Hill", it's an autumn mist shrouded magic mushroom fest from start to finish. With most of the original members of the Pink Fairies and Steve Took....
