Deep Purple - Live In London 1974. Dble CD. (EMI - 503 5802) Live In London was recorded in 1974 on what turned out to be Deep Purple Mk 3’s only British tour. It was a pivotal year for the band, coming as it did after difficult line-up changes. They were anxious to both continue and build on their previous popularity and, while Mk 3 had been going down well in Europe and America, there was still a lot of importance attached to the reception the new line-up would get back home in Britain: Ritchie Blackmore, Ian Paice, Jon Lord, and new bassist Glenn Hughes and singer David Coverdale.Having recorded new album, Burn, and after road-testing their new line up around Europe, the band discovered to their relief that most of the fans accepted the new incarnation wholeheartedly.Deep Purple played 3 London dates on this tour, it was the show, at the enormous Gaumont Kilburn, on May 22nd 1974, which was recorded.Until now ‘Live In London’ has never been issued on CD in Europe and even then it did not contain the full set . Eddie Hardin - Home Is Where You Find It. CD. (RPM - RPM277) Having previously been a member of the Spencer Davis Group, Hardin went on to release this, his debut solo album, in 1972. This is a first time CD reissue and includes guest spots from Ian Paice, Elton John band's Dee Murray. Heavy on the lush piano arrangements and orchestration, this is a soft rock classic.

Green Bullfrog - Green Bullfrog Sessions. CD. (Connoisseur - NSPCD503) Rare session put together by producer Derek Lawrence. Built around longtime occasional collaborator Ritchie Blackmore, and including help from Jim Sullivan,Tony Ashton, Albert Lee, Ian Paice & Jon Lord this is a high quality collection of musiciasns rockin' out in the studio in the early 70's. With Blackmore, Sullivan, and Lee involved, it is naturally a guitar-heavy event, and there's certainly some searing playing to be found amid the good-time jamming sessions.

(SPV - SPV08572512) Return to form from this ex Traffic man with a stellar line up of guests including George Harrison, Ian Paice, Gary Moore, Paul Weller & Stevie Winwood. A real poppy affair this album with the addition of the guests writing contributions as well. The Track ' Anna Julia' that features George Harrison should have been a top 10 smash!

Kirby - Composition. LP. (Breeder Backtrack - HW 2) Super rare UK 70's rock with a nice west coast touch as featured on Psychedelia Vol 2 and the Hen's Teeth series. Featuring Ian Paice (Deep Purple) on drums, this rarity features laid back grooves with tasty guitar solos and some Muscle Shoals-style horn arrangements similar in places to Blood Sweat & Tears, the Doobies or AWB. Originally released on Hot Wax records in 1978 (just after the classic Paice Ashton & Lord album - and very similar in style)LAST COPY OF THIS DELETED CLASSIC.

(Inakustik - INAK60512) A real drum fest featuring Pete York (Spencer Davis/Jon Lord Band) and a whole host of guests including Cozy Powell, Ian Paice, Zak Starkey, Billy Cobham, Simon Phillips, Nicko McBrain and Bill Bruford performing drum styles with a band featuring Jon Lord(Deep Purple), Colin Hodgkinson (Back Door), Millar Anderson (Keef Hartley,Dog Soldier). Stylish jamming and super drumming make this an excellent DVD. Contains bonus disc that features the "Making Of" Super drumming. Region 0 Dolby 5.1 PCM stereo.

Tony Ashton And Friends - Live At Abbey Road. CD. A very special night at the London studios that took place in 2000, finally released. This testament to Tony's genius (organised by his friends Jon Lord and Pete York) turned out to be his last performance before his death a year later. A highly celebratory night, this featured some very special guests indeed: Eddie Hardin, Ian Paice, Neil Murray, Micky Moody, the late Who bass player John Entwistle as well as female backing singers/ brass accompanyment.
