It’s a very weird and psychedelic album that's a sort of soundtrack to an imaginary film. In parts it's similar to his work on the Desert sessions albums or the spacier moments on Spine Of God but its way more out there and instrumental with some decidedly early Pink Floyd Moments particularly on the brilliant Centaur Of The Sun. Farewell Iron Age is awesome heavy space psych with some killer fuzz guitar riffing. Overall the album is like a spiritual guide for taking hallucinogens. A highly surprising and beautiful record!
