Bedouin - As Above So Below. CD. (Salahadin Records - CD001) Space Rock heaven! Ali Davey on bass, vocals and synths, Danny Thompson on drums and Glenn Povey on guitars and synths make up Bedouin and this, their 2001 album, is a real treat from start to finish. Anyone who liked the Black Sword/Elric era Hawkwind will love this with Ali and Danny (veterans of that Hawkwind line-up) pounding out space rock rhythms with Glenn throwing in arabic/eastern scales. Great cover art. Simon House even guests on violin!
