Beach Boys - Smiley Smile. LP. (Simply Vinyl - SVLP 219) Superb vinly re-issue of their 1967 psych album. Which was supposed to take the innovations of 'Pet Sounds' to even grander heights, but never quite made it. Low-key psychedelic quirkiness, with abundant fine harmonies and unusual arrangements. Still as classy now as thirty years ago.
