(Tenth Planet - WHCD012) This CD features 25 stunning demos and works in progress recorded between 1966-1970 - apart from three tracks that were included on the vinyl only Peter Eden compilation,everything else is previously unreleased.This dark singer songwriter shows his other side on these psychedelic pop numbers among the highlights "Brighton Beach", "Maudy La Lune","Maxine's Parlour" etc there are a handful of tracks with Honeybus as backing band as well as a magical demo version of "Be Not So Fearful".Baroque 60's pop at it's finest,this important release includes perviously unpublished photos and exclusive liner notes,with quotes from Bill himself.
