Fairport Convention - Who Knows. Dble LP. (Simply Vinyl - S160043) Vol 1 of the archives from Fairport's very own Woodworm Studios, officially sanctioned for release by Dave and Christine Pegg. Historical in that this is the very first live recording of this classic lineup- Sandy Denny, Trevor Lucas, Jerry Donahue, Dave Swarbrick, Dave Pegg and Bruce Rowlands on the 'Rising For The Moon' tour- to be released, and of aesthetic value as many fans belive this to be the pinnacle, alongside 'Liege And Lief' that is, of their achievement (although to be honest all their albums from 1967 to 1977 are excellent). Features a track not included on the CD issue- thus making it a complete concert recording.
