Jack The Lad - The Old Straight Track. CD. (Charisma Virgin - CASCDR1094) Second album from Lindisfarne offshoot which actually possessed its own unique style,and was grounded far more in the 'tradition' than the 'Farne ever were. This album, which featured Phil Murray and Walter Fairburn in place of the outgoing Rod Clements, includes 'Oakey Strike Evictions' and 'Peggy Overseas With A Sailor', and has been remastered with two bonus tracks added. Warm, enjoyable and soulful folk-rock.
