Pernice Brothers - Live A Little. CD. (One Little Indian - TPLP737CD) The Pernice Brothers formed eight years ago after the break up of the Joe Pernice’ alt country band, Scud Mountain Boys. The three original members Joe Pernice; his older brother Bob, a guitarist; and bassist Thom Monahan are joined by keyboardist Laura Stein, drummer Mike Belitsky and guitarist Peyton Pinkerton in the current line up for this 2006 release.The essence of Pernice's songwriting remains unchanged: smooth and bright on the outside, black and twisted in the middle Pernice is a serious songwriter; he picks his notes and his words with exquisite care.
