Ruefrex - Capital Letters- The Best Of Ruefrex. CD. (Cherry Red - CDMRED290) Compilation that contains all 20 tracks (yes, there weren't that many) offically released by the band who alongside The Undertones, Stiff Little Fingers and Rudi, summed up the uncompromising attitude of Ulster towards punk rock. Enemies of both Protestants and Catholics alike (probably the only thing until Good Friday that both sides agreed on.,Their best known tunes include 'Paid In Kind' and ''Capital Letters" both of which are included here, as is the still highly controversial "Wild Catholic Boy". None of these tunes have ever been on CD before: the disc is fleshed out by the inclusion of previously unheard material plus a full set of lyrics, gubbins and indepth sleevenotes compiled by the band themselves. Punk as fuck and no mistake.
