Ruby Wright - Regular Gal (The King Recordings 1949-61). CD. (Edsel / Demon Westside - WESF 112) Twenty Seven tracks of quite naïve, gentle country pop. Seen as a novelty at the time and almost completely ignored in the US, her work has a really enjoyable charm with hindsight (and the listener not having to much of a cynical heart.) Includes her tribute to the Buddy Holly plane crash "Three Stars", "Toddle-Loo To You", "Pigtails On Parade" and ""Rummy Dumb Bunny."
